WRT pic of the food in the news.....I had my fair share of exposure to hospital food with my father and his Cancer b/t 2016 - 2019. He stayed in Mt Hope, Caura and St James at various time and the food was always of a high standard relatively speaking for "hospital food". The only con really was he was a vegetarian and they fairly often bought meat meals probably b/c of lack of communication.

When he did get what they term strict veg meals there was usually a vege loaf made with lentils and other beans etc. The description those patients giving seems atypical.

And my brother in law has a contract with 2 RHAs including NCRHA [which controls Caura and Couva] for food supply and POs have increased significantly since COVID came here. So there is definitely no issue with supply of provisions.

It's likely, most places have deepened restrictions and extended lockdowns rather than emerging from them after two weeks. Let's hope they don't screw this up and open just after and then get inundated by a wave of cases because people think it's business as normal again.

As you can see, things are NICE for the majority of the population. A real comfort zone with the hundreds of social media postings on how relaxed and how much of a joke this is to many.

The guard is somewhat up now because of these temporary stay at home measures. When lifted, Trinidadians will have learnt nothing from this pandemic....Time to party, wine, grine and laugh to the many songs and jokes that are to come. No care what so ever for preventative measures for a return of Covid 19.

Research Hantavirus in China...it may not much of a concern now, but let it be an awareness of what could happen again.
