I have always saw Johnson as a a bowling champion and he is delivering in this series . While I know what you did last summer Broad looks not very effective .

The so called milkways best is being found out with a quality pace attack in SA.

was actually surprised that Sammy put NZ in 2 bat first... the fast bowlers didnt take advantage of the conditions, they will also rue the chance to dismiss Taylor when he dropped by Kirk Edwards without scorin..smh

In non WI news it would appear RSA are well on their way to finding a suitable successor for Graeme Smith. Quinton De Kock is 20 years old and has just rattled of his 3rd consecutive ODI hundred.

So after a decent opening partnership of 74, WI capitulated to 175 all out?
These fellas not serious, Chanders not out again...

Sammy say the bowlers failed in helpful conditions....But with scores of 193 ans 175 and a combined batting time of just about 101 overs over two innings I would say the batsmen have to shoulder plenty blame as well.

And not being able to bat a full day is the norm and not an aberration as per the preceding series in India.

As soon as the bowlers start to trouble the WI batsmen, they hit out and giv away their wicket, no one willing to try and spend time at the crease like Chanders, or Bravo in the first test.

Aus on the brink of regaining the Ashes. Would be nice to shut up the gloating English who just couldn't say enough after the series in England earlier this year.

It is the back of hand stuff that is usually the problem

IIRC no.

Akash Chopra's analysis of Narine confirms this -
"By bowling even his offspinners with a scrambled seam, Narine manages to keep the batsman guessing which one will head the other way. And since he bowls both his variations from the front of the hand (the doosra is usually bowled from the back of the hand), you have to look very closely at which way his fingers are turning at the point of release - not an easy job.
