Time asked Biden whether he believed Netanyahu was “prolonging the war for his own political self-preservation”.

“I’m not going to comment on that,” the president said in response, but added: “There is every reason for people to draw that conclusion.”

Most political observers say Netanyahu would lose elections if they were held now, and would be forced into opposition, facing court hearings on corruption charges. But elections have been put off until the war is over, or at least until major military operations are deemed to have been completed.

They are called Palestinians for the region they come from.

Israelites are called that as the religious lineage from Jacob.

Israelis are Called that from the modern state imposed on philistine lands...

The locals have the right to resist that occupation.

Nobody wants the Palestinians... Nobody HAS to want the Palestinians.

The state of Isreal is a recent invention, it can easily be relocated... Like how they 'pulled out' of gaza, they can pull out of the rest of the territory.
Go where? Where ever they have their second passport
fine... Nobody wants Palestinian refugees.

In 1989, Sirhan told British journalist David Frost: "My only connection with Robert Kennedy was his sole support of Israel and his deliberate attempt to send those 50 fighter jets to Israel to obviously do harm to the Palestinians."

I guess it’s as they say: One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter.

The IDF has opened a probe after social media images went viral showing its soldiers in front of burning books during operations in the Gaza Strip.

One of the propaganda Isreal posts on my feed, decided to scroll through as I couldn't comment.
Come across a post that says 25k idf fallen.
Thats ded not injured.

From the hamas fighters vids, they clearly were racking up tallies. Thought was around 10k... 25k is wow.

It makes sense now why yoav gallant is furious that netanyahu is not pulling out of gaza.

Why is not injured is cause Isreal does not like to project weakness. They may like to play the victims, but not the weak ones.

Also, November last year was reports of thousands of injuries a per week. And hamas engagements have been even more effective since refining their tactics.

Isreal also activated 50k reservists for Lebanon. They gonna take actions.
But seeing thst the iron dome is either under supplied or under manned, idf may not have the strength to tackle Hesbollah.

Hesbollah manufactures their own stuff. And isn't limited by idf fencing as gaza

You got all of that wrong.

Yom Hazikaron, also known as Memorial Day or Israel Fallen Soldiers Remembrance Day, is a national remembrance day observed in Israel for the more than 25,000 Israeli military personnel who lost their lives during the struggle to establish the State of Israel and who have been killed subsequently while on active duty in Israel's armed forces. It is observed on the 4th of the month of Iyar on the Hebrew calendar, which means it is observed on the day before Independence Day.

In the UK, Oxfam has issued a statement on Israel’s attack on a UN school in Gaza, describing it as “another flagrant violation of international humanitarian law”. It said:

Israel’s attack on a UN school, targeting displaced civilians, is yet another flagrant violation of international humanitarian law (IHL). Dozens of people – including children – were slaughtered while they slept.

It is a disgrace that a ceasefire is still not in place and that IHL is broken by Israel time and again with full impunity. This relentless nightmare has to stop now – not in a few days, not a few weeks. Civilians in Gaza must be protected and world leaders must stop Israel from continuing this carnage, and stop providing the political cover for them to do so.

Lebanon has a functioning Govnt albeit flawed however a militia seemingly controls their foreign policy and quite possibly is going to drag the country into what will be a devasting war.
The verified videos yesterday showing Hezbollah systematically knocking out an Iron Dome battery coupled with the intense bombardments on Northern Israel over the weekend resulting in the wildfires means a line has possibly been crossed for the Israelis.

The not so concerned Tuners now will cry fake tears when significant parts of Beirut lies in ruins soon and it will all be Hezbollah's fault.

Well we are at impasse opinion wise. I believe Israelis in Northern Israel should live and you think they should die because that's precisely what the thousands of Hezbollah missiles are meant to do.

Israeli competence in defence and building codes that make everyone build bomb shelters in their houses doesn't take away from what the ultimate intent is by the militia to the north

Well UNIFIL is supposed to ensure what is happening now doesn't happen. But as with many things UN in that part of the world it is quite ineffective despite the presence of 10,000 peacekeepers from 46 countries present in Southern Lebanon covering the area south of the Litani River.

But back to the crux of the matter - A militia that is not the Govnt of Lebanon (but they have some seats in the Lebanese Parliament) is continously shelling Lebanon's neighbour. Either Lebanon reins them in or the Israelis do but you cannot cry when one happens.

The United Nations has added the Israeli military to a global list of offenders that have committed violations against children.
The list aims to shame parties to conflicts in the hope of pushing them to implement measures to protect children. Palestinian militant groups Hamas and the Islamic Jihad have also been added to the list. It forms part of an annual report on children and armed conflict due to be published in late June. Israel has criticized the UN's decision to include its military.
