Caught the second innings. Hats off to Sammy...he stepped up today.

Having said that the West Indian victory was assured by a very sub-par Indian fielding performance.

If they feel they "turn a corner" with this win, they lie.

For what its worth I'd rather watch a match like the recently concluded 1st Ashes test than any T20 match. Real cricket skills FTW!!!

Only because I was suffering an extreme bout of insomnia last night I watched most of the WI innings. The inability of the WI batsman to take singles when fours and sixes not available astounding especially after the field restrictions are lifted. This is not a new problem though.

I cant remember where I read it (quite possibly Cricinfo) but I think in the 2011 WC the WI had the highest %age of runs in boundaries of all the teams but also the lowest %age of 1,2 and 3s. We never made it to the 2nd round :?

So we gone to NZ with three spinners in our squad? My how the times have changed. And sadly there and SA are two of the best places for seamers and swing bowlers in the world.

This NZ squad don't like like they will be a walkover as they were here in the Caribbean last year.

Narine actually went to perth university to work on his action with biomechanics, so i don't think he'll have a problem. Darren lehmann was watching samuels ever since the big bash with the pace he bowls at.
