Those red government people that are not happy with Rowlee will still vote him back him if real elections are called tomorrow.hover11 wrote:Thanks for an unbiased answer, I glad to see even strong pnm ppl are unsatisfied with the leadership we are under. Just PnM ppl seem quiet , no complaining they just taking this, I am neither a fan of either red or rising sun government, both parties did their faeces , however I will say one thing I prospered more under the rising sun government, money had more value back then compared to now.Habit7 wrote:hover11 wrote:Habit you have to admit the perceived lesser of two evils doesn't mean they doing a good job . I thought we just had an election last year to answer this?
The head of WHO commended his handling of covid.
The former US ambassador commended his work.
The Economist magazine said we are one the best economy to emerge from covid lockdown.
Even if you think he is doing a horrible job, the reality is ppl think nobody else can do better.
Not bashing but you really thing Rowlie doing a good job? Really ?
That is exactly what I am saying, based on the hand we have been dealt and the crappy choices we have, nobody can do a better job. He started off 2015 in a recession and O&G prices tanking. We started climbing out the hole and the pandemic hit. I keep say stop being myopic, high food prices are a worldwide problem right now, not just TT. But the unions, COP and economy are all his responsibility while dealing with one of the greatest and longest disruptions we ever had as a nation. He isn't doing a good job on a whole and I don't think there is a big chance of a scenario where a good job exists. I disagree with keeping schools closed and extending the SoE. Masks outdoors are foolish and unscientific. I disagree with large subsidised utilities, fuel, healthcare and govt services. It makes us inefficient and wasteful. But when we cut back on those things and move to become more sustainable, critics will cry too much taxes despite the fact we pay some of the lowest taxes and utilities in the region.
Rowley knows that he is not doing a good job, but now is not the time for smooth sailing. Nevertheless, he was democratically and popularly chosen to captain the ship. Let those who can do better toss their hat in the ring.

This would be one of the Cayennes bought with the tax breaks?
I would love to see what he got for the vehicle- and what he paid.
Agreed, but it was long overdue for Inshan to get pop down.Hopefully he learned his lesson.Rowrow is accustomed to behaving like that and Inshan supported his behavior. Not so much fun when you are on the receiving end yourself, or as trinis like to say ," do so doh like so"Ben_spanna wrote:Absolutely NO person in a position of authority that has any decency or decorum would tell someone to outright kiss their a55, this just goes to show that our current papery leader has zero class, no behavior and has nothing by gutter attitude.

In this instance with Feris isn't it less about the perk and more about the legal requirement to have a transfer completed?

If you reach up there. You will use it the same way that the current stick of politicians doing.
Its like when people now come in the public service an watching the big boys an asking why they don't change this or that ... eventually when those same people reach up there ... they do nothing 4o change the status quo.

No issue with perks being used. Robbing the Treasury of the transfer fee is something else.
How is the new owner even getting insurance for it?
The Attorney General told the Express he sold the car to Kawalsingh on June 22, 2016.
“Mr Kawalsingh paid for that car, the transaction was completed and Mr Kawalsingh took possession of the car in 2016. I am not aware as to what records the transport authority has or don’t have. But I can tell you that all documentation was submitted. I am informed they (the document) went to the Transport Commissioner and I will have to check and see whether those records were perfected or not.
“The matter of the transfer is a matter for the purchaser.
Max you cannot agree with this come on are you that brainwashed look at what's happening, this is total abuse of power and misbehavior in public office. What makes it even worse is that they self proclaimed they are transparent unlike the previous administration.
