On the ancestry riddim

Written by Garret “Icon” John and Kevin “Stadic” Charles. Produced by Stadic Studio Productions. Mixed and Mastered by Franklin Rodriguez. Live Guitars by Kyle Peters. Back Vocals by Kevin “Stadic” Charles. Recorded at SoundLock, Viking House.

Music is the foundation on which birth was given to the pride and independence of our race and people. The ancestry of Soca runs far back into our days on the plantation and its culture has only grown stronger throughout the centuries and manifests itself in our lives present day.

Religion, work and recreation emanates from this music, churning love, warmth and acceptance into the universe and reins in a diverse world of people to love and appreciate each other.

The latest release from Stadic Music is one filled with culture and experience ranging widely from many different influences. The "Ancestry riddim" graced with great features from various artistes including, Benjai doing his rendition of " Bad no ras", Danielle adds her contribution of "Like ah african", Mr Renzo gives a grand effort with his track "Before morning", and Orlando Octave tops of the riddim with his entry of "Wine it". All tracks embodies elements of culture derived from our ancestry.

Destra: No Rest

Take alu vitamins

Produced & Arranged By Alli "Sir Fingaz" Lawrence. Written By Gamal "Skinny Fabulous" Doyle & Destra Garcia. Mixed By Anthony Lowhar of Commercial Music Studio. Mastered By FRHL.

Sleep is for the dead!

From midnight till Ash Wednesday, every feter and Bakanalist, jouvert jumbie and masquerader knows there's no such thing as sleep...

And the latest track from the QOB is the perfect anthem to keep our blood pumping and eyes open!

Written by Skinny Fabulous and the Queen of Bacchanal herself, No Rest celebrates the wild sexiness of Carnival insomnia, keeping us wining, grinding and wide awake.

If you ever needed an excuse, a reason or an inspiration to stay awake, No Rest is it!

Stay up with us as we journey into Carnival 2015 and the House of Bakanal...

So Fay-Ann has a song name "raze" which says "raze your hands in de air...."

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/raze

razedraz·ing

Full Definition of RAZE

transitive verb
1
a archaic : erase
b : to scrape, cut, or shave off

2: to destroy to the ground : demolish <raze an old building>
— raz·er noun

Examples of RAZE

<an entire city block razed by a terrible fire>
<the developer razed the old school building and built a high-rise condominium complex>

So she's saying destroy/scrape, cut or shave off your hands in the air?

K then.

Monk and Chris Martin: Soak

Written by Christopher Martin, Machel Montano & Sherwin Jeremiah
Produced by Anjublax for UIM Records
Recorded by Anjublax & Marlon Bennet-Easy at Big Yard Studio, 23 Westminster Rd. Kingston
Mixed by Anjublax & Gennaro Schiano
Mastered by Christopher Mahle
Press Release Creative Writing by Mystie Thongs

When you have an entire region overflowing with ceaseless talent just waiting to be embraced, it is a MUST that Caribbean connections should not only be built, but also continuously strengthened over time.

Monk Monté is no stranger to forming enduring bonds with fellow islanders, and with this latest track alongside Jamaica’s Reggae star Chris Martin, he adds another link in the musical bridge between Trinidad and Tobago and its exquisite West Indian neighbor.

One thing men from both these islands have in common is how much they relish bringing their patented Caribbean heat to women on dance floors both near and far.

In the song Machel and Chris demonstrate this as they stir passions up and seduce the ladies into letting themselves “Soak” in the rich feel of the music, along with double the usual masculine vigor.

Andrew “Anju Blaxx” Myrie of Uptempo International Music (UIM) Records, a prominent name in Reggae circles, who has worked with artistes like Vybz Kartel, Tommy Lee, Movado, and Jah Cure, produced this alluring release adding an enticing feel that keeps listeners enwrapped and craving more.

The ambassador of Soca hits every sexy note possible on this one, even as he and Chris reinforce the ideal that in our region we are more powerful together than we can ever be apart.

Take in this provocative number.
