EXPECT SPORADIC SHOWERS AND THUNDERSHOWERS
Tobago and particularly Trinidad should expect
sporadic showers and thundershowers as a result
of a systemic convergence line supported by
thermally driven localized instability.
Some of these showers and thundershowers can be
heavy or intense and will initially favour
eastern districts of Trinidad. Other areas of
Trinidad and Tobago will eventually be affected
by the showery activities today.
Street/flash flooding and the occasional burst of
gust are likely in the vicinity of heavy
showers/thundershowers.
Citizens are advised to be vigilant and cautious
as they conduct their daily activities given
forecast weather conditions. Be alert to any
electrical discharges from thundercloud activity.
Adopt measures which would preserve life and
property.
WE STRONGLY UNDERSCORE THAT TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO IS
NOT UNDER ANY TROPICAL STORM THREAT, WATCH OR
WARNING AT THIS TIME.
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service is
closely monitoring weather conditions and will
issue another bulletin if the situation warrants.
