So decided to make a pass in by Samaroo's, across the road from the Southern Imports or Wholesalers, whatever the hell the wholesale place name on Debe stretch.


Was about 7.45am, I ordered 2 slight and a bottle of water, noticed the surroundings were clean, there was ample drinks on sale, I however looked for the water but noted some apple J and soft drink. The two girls werent the best looking but okish and seemed professional enough to take my order but were quickly distracted by a shiny object on a truck windscreen. Anyway, I paid my $12 ($3.50/doubles)

My doubles was wrapped and ready to go in less than 2mins, quite pleased I walked back over to my workplace. I removed the first doubles and was greeted with a small ball almost, when I opened the wrappingI noted that the wrapper had placed the two SMALL bara's atop each other, rather than the conventional way of one halfway atop the other. I shrugged this off and moved in to taste the doubles, the bara was up first, it failed to tantalize my tastebuds and I found it to be rather undercooked. It was very chewy which I accredited to the almost raw flour which seemed to simply have been dipped in warm oil.

Next up the channa was hopefully the savior but it seemed to had been knocked out earlier as the channa failed to bring up the taste.. Actually the channa had very little taste of curry or anything to bear fact.. I found my tastebuds drawing more taste from the cucumbers than the channa. The channa presented a mild taste of boil chana but nothing more..



Overall small bara/doubles, undercooked bara and tasteless channa, I give them a 2/5.
