Only solution is to either get flow or input the ip manually on the device. Since the bush doesn't have flow I just manually added it to my  tv and placed google DNS (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4) on my blink modem.

A work around but working non the less

Unblock-US only works really well - I have been using it for over a year now with no problems.

Unlike a VPN, Unblock-US only masks your IP from specific services like Netflix, Pandora, Hulu, CBS, ABC etc. It does not mask your IP for Google or most of the web - so your browsing is not changed at all. It does not affect speed.
Most people put unblock-us on their router, IMO that is the best place to put it.
No problems if your phone connects. if anything it would be great since apps like Pandora, CBS, ABC and Hulu will now work on your phone once you are connected to your router.

My only beef is that Unblock-us does not work with Amazon Video On Demand.

Used unblock-us until recently I switched to smartdnsproxy.com. Initially I thought that unblock-us was quite good as I used it mainly for Amazon instant videos but when I tried CW network, abc, cbs apps etc all the videos either came up as server problems or the app itself just wasn't loading any info. Now using smart DNS proxy with no problems other than the fact that some primetime networks ask for ur cable company user log in info. Also, smartdnsproxy works out cheaper than unblock-us if u take a longer subscription package

Up to Sunday gone I was back and forth with unblock-us support trying to get this working again for me. Had the same problem you described - no access to many Google services (youtube, drivel.google.com, keep.google.com etc) only gmail worked. I first discovered the problem when my Chromecast could not connect to Youtube but the other streaming services worked fine.

The final solution was they gave me two different sets of DNS address pair to try. The last pair worked. They mentioned to me that it appears to be that the ISP has changed something. I have TSTT DSL btw

They told me it seems TSTT is blocking the DNS, they sent this alternate DNS, but its kinda iffy

Primary: 184.106.242.193

They gave me these DNS addresses to use and it's been working for me.

Primary DNS: 111.118.175.056
Secondary: 118.127.033.048

But would it not be better if we try to get TSTT to stop blocking the original addresses?

I send an email to support@tstt.net.tt this morning and this is response I got

"Dear valued customer,

We have never encountered this type of report from any of our customers. We are not familiar with any kind of transparent proxy for Google services. We do not use, or are not subscribed to use any kind of transparent proxy for Google services."

I wasn't expecting any helpful response from them in any case so no surprise there.

selection of movies

Each country has a different selection of movies on Netflix.

Unblock-us.com let's you change the country you can access. So you can change to UK and watch the movies in the UK Netflix. UK netflix has a lot more British shows. Or you can switch to Canada or even Sweden. You'd be surprised at the cool movies available in other countries such as Predator or Ghostbusters that aren't available even in the US Netflix.

i switched to smartdnsproxy.com

Try it and see if your problem goes away.

I find I get access to a lot more content than with unblock-us.com

Not sure if you can switch countries with smartdnsproxy though.

oh noes...

Netflix is cracking down on streamers who bypass region locks
The company seems to be blocking VPNs and other tools

Netflix in the United States is not the same as Netflix in the rest of the world. Thanks to the intricacies of international law, the streaming service offers very different content, and sometimes none at all, based on where a subscriber lives. Some savvy users have been using tools to get around that problem, but it appears the company may finally be putting its foot down.

Many users rely on VPNs — virtual private networks — or custom DNS settings to stealthily access Netflix as though they were in other regions. But Netflix may have started closing some of those loopholes. Torrent Freak reports that, in the past few weeks, popular VPN services like TorGuard have started seeing a spike in errors when users try to access Netflix.

The problems don't appear to be widespread — the Netflix Android app, for one, may have updated to block DNS trickery — but there is a reasonable concern among users of the services that this is a prelude to a wider crackdown by Netflix. That might be unfortunate for people who rely on the services, but it's hardly surprising: as Netflix continues its global expansion, more and more money is on the line.
