Have you tried resetting the modem?

When speeds start to slow, that usually helps for a while.

Flow has been good for the past few years for me, including a business account. But with connections in north and south, their service has really gone to sheit over the past few months.

You kinda miss my point. YES I feel sorry for people with flow, because I had more issues than anyone here and dealing with flow to fix it was like dealing with a monkey to fix the internals of a microchip. That is how unprofessional flow actually is, then one day I upgraded my package I did it 3 times until somehow the second it switched to 60mb all problems went away. And for all we know this won't last long its been good for months now ever since it was switched but again anything can happen because is a real roll a dice kinda company.

One of the Flow CSR even advised me to accept Jesus and start to pray saying that what she did to fix her problems. Yeah this is the kind of company you are dealing with here.

I've had the same issue but I think it has to do with the age of the torrent, and peers/seeds geographically located close to TT.

Downloading a fresh Game of Thrones at 11PM on a Sunday right after airing and I'd be getting 5-10 Kb/s.

Frig that, went to sleep. Restarted same torrent next morning, 6MB/s straight through.

^that is absolutely correct. Once I wait till next morning or next night, I could put like 10 different shows to download and my speed will be maxed until all done

Fellas the only reason flow giving so many issues is because currently they don't have any new modems also the techs and the dispatch dept they do whatever they want and end up causing a sheit load of problems plus of recent alot of outages taking place because the fiber optics are being damaged

It works, but only for pausing live TV, not for recording.

All true, but you could try to update your tracker (right click on torrent and its there) there would be a drop in speed initially and then a probable rise, run tests in the setup window (for location personally bogata works better than miami-most of the time-) and well new torrents take a while wrt seed/peer ratios
if I learn anything new I'll share it

Is flow doing mass-throttling for summer or something?
I'm not a heavy downloader or anything, but I don't usually have issues with torrents using Flow.

Lately my 60mbps package seems to be pulling 5-15KB/sec on a torrent. Downloading over SSL seems unaffected and I can pull max throughput. Streaming via YouTube and sites like Putlocker etc also seems affected and can't play without excessive buffering.

Same situation...i never had to leave things long long to download. they'd be up to 4mb-5mb per sec in a few minutes..with the 60mb package....now...pressure...experiencing the same and I have stopped downloading for a few days to see if it would change or reset.

Have no problem pulling 5-6MB/sec on a Digicel 100mbit package... Giving flow a month or two then I'm just going to cancel if things don't get better

Only reason I am with flow is because of their $200 a month 60MB package. Hopefully this cost wont pass onto internet access users. I have 0 use for cable TV

yep, one must admit...this is a pretty sweet deal considering the other prices available.

especially if you live in an area where FLOW doesn't go down that often...

What's the typical speed though? I'm on the legacy 15 and just wasn't upgrading because I experience seemingly random speed drops/limitations. Also "cost won't pass on to Internet access users"? And what area? I hardly get disruptions in Chaguanas area. Considering if an upgrade might be worth the couple dollars or if I'll be paying more for speeds I'll never see.
