^ most of the good games are just demos. But that's good because you can try the demos before you buy the real thing. Some really good games in the Play store. NFS Shift and Asphalt 6 good. Modern Combat 3, Spiderman. Just watch your battery life, the GPU sucks power for these games... but the graphics are really good. Stuff from GameLoft are usually awesome. Angry-Birds Space and other physics games are addictive to no end.

SuperGNES + original mario and donkey kong country and contra roms really bringing back memories.

But the Play store is so much more than just games. Discover.

Google launched their Google Fiber

There are three plans on offer for residents:

For US$120 per month, customers get unlimited data, up to 1-gigabit-per-second (Gbps) upload and download speeds, Google Fiber TV — Google's IPTV service — a Nexus 7 tablet, TV Box, Storage Box, Network Box and 1TB of storage on Google Drive on a two-year contract.
For US$70 per month, customers get unlimited data on up to 1Gbps upload and download, the Network Box and 1TB of Google Drive storage.
For US$0 per month (but including the US$300 construction fee), customers will get up to 5-megabits-per-second (Mbps) download and up to 1Mbps upload, with unlimited data and the Network Box included. Google has promised to keep this connection free for at least seven years.

Yes that's 1Gbps symmetrical.

I kno of someone who had a BB and simply popped the sim card in a S2 with no probs. They are running the postpaid bb plan that's $100 a month on bmobile. The only thing is that EDGE is ah pain tho...

not so fast there padres....this is the same S2 that bMobile said can't upgrade to ICS. So unless you plan to exist at GingerBread...it's that low for a reason. You can go through the drama of rooting and all that if you want.

Once Samsung releases the ICS upgrade for the S2, I see no reason why you can't upgrade. Most companies won't honor warranty if you root your device.

Samsung has released the ICS update a few months ago. I myself have an s2 and it came with gingerbread and I updated to ics. A recent poster said that they had one of these s2 sold to him and when he complained about not being able to update they said that this particular s2 can't be updated to ics and he'd have to root it to do so, of course voiding his warranty.

ICS came out for the s2 a few months ago. But ICS is available for the I9100 that bmobile sells so I cant understand why it cant update. Probably because of a network problem preventing connectivity to samsung update servers.

They have different builds of the S2 and the ICS updates came out at different times. My wife's S2 ICS update came out a couple months after most people here had gotten it.

ZeroOne I currently got my handset replaced with one of the "new batch S2" they have at the moment and I cannot update. I am in a battle with Bmobile about this issue. Also working together with TATT and TSTT complaints dep. I was originally told to update my phone using odin by "branch manager" only to be called later after I left not to do it. It will void warranty! (I asked the branch manager if it would initially and was told no.)

What is funny about this story is a friend of mines bought a white S2 from them yesterday and is able to update to ICS. So errm, what gives? To get further information about your phone punch in *#1234#. For those getting issues and those not, can you tell me the info there?

As for the further information, here is mines:

I had an s2 before I got my s3 so I know there are different builds thats why I said that the i9100, which is the build that TSTT sells was already updated to ICS months ago.

Have you tried contacting samsung about this problem?

I know that they must have an independent agent locally.

The phone is still under warranty. Flashing it myself voids warranty. Branch manager called me today and said update over Kies available. Checked.. not true.

I also realise I talking to myself here because trinis will always be trinis. Your attitude case and point. Its principle.
