Yep, just not on EDGE, you have to be on 3G/4G to stream video

I got my personal blackberry z10 today and I have a BIS plan on Digi that I don't really wanna give up.. It's locked to bmobile as you said. If I unlock it you think my Digicel BIS would work? It's a full 2gb 3G plan.

Also can you link me to where you saw that please?

Well this is frustrating... I thought I'd go ahead and use bmobile's pay as you go data until I got my Z10 unlocked.. But greyed out APN settings so it isn't working.. How you guys got your Internet working on the z10?

EDIT - I literally went thru almost every single article with the hundreds of people complaining about this issue and I can't find any fix. This is ridiculous. I even went to the engineering screen to change it but it keeps reverting everytime. How in the hell you guys got yours to work?

Which plan did you take? Was it a bb10 specific plan?

if the bb10 specific plan doesn't work, take a 4g plan and bis

ive had two devices, both have the apn greyed out
bmobile utilizes the apn - blackberry.net10

There is a BB10 specific plan?
Currently I have the BIS plan and would get the Q10 soon.
You can have BIS and 4G plans together?

No it isn't a BB specific plan, I have a BIS plan on my Digicel sim but since the Z10 is locked to bmobile.. I just wanted to use bmobile's pay as you go Internet until I can have it unlocked.

I called bmobile and they're no help.. They're trying to force me to take an unlimited BB plan.

So you're just using a regular 4G BIS plan?

I think I'm gonna unlock the damn thing today

BIS plans are different to BB10 plans because they connect to BlackBerry services differently, you should be able to use a prepaid 4G plan though

Requested my unlock code from cellunlocker.net.. When it gets unlocked I'll try my Digi sim and report back.. I pray to God it actually works. I'm assuming it will since bmobile's BB10 plan seemed to be a regular BlackBerry plan, just unlimited.. I made that assumption off the price, $60 a week. Which is ridiculous.

Okay guys, happy to report that cellunlocker.net unlocked my Z10 and my old Digicel BIS plan works perfect on it, even though the apn is "bbweb". Instead of paying $60 a week, I'm now paying $70 a month for 2gb 3G on a worthwhile BlackBerry device. Pretty happy right about now.

Anyone installed the 10.2 leak on a Z10? I see some lag while switching apps and having lots of BBM convos open while browsing pages and such.. Wondering if it would help

Even though it's a leak, is it worth installing?

Also anyone has a good tutorial on how to convert apks to bar files?

This. I am currently paying this ridiculous price as bmobile also 'forces' me to take the unlimited plan.

I'm looking for an alternative without switching networks.
