^^^ Everyone needs to shut up and get out the courts. Apple, Google, Samsung, MS, Nokia, Sony, Motorola, R.I.M.

There are always patent cases going on for since forever. But it's time they just stop. Just these days Apple get all the press as they are the largest out of all the other companies (as MS used to get in the 90's).

If you really want that stuff on your notification tray, then use Widgetsoid.
I've had to use it to get my pull down power control in the Nexus ROM.

I have problems also with this forum continuously logging me out and not going back to the thread I was viewing when I do log in, but that a whole other issue, I think.

And I have 3 other forums that I view using Tapatalk, without these issues, I am beginning to think the problem is not from my end.

I have this same problem on my desktop, the problem is definitely on the web server side.

So Im back and stronger than before upgraded from the s2 to:

Now I have to cut my SIM.

I cant wait for Jelly Bean on this, I just hope that Google voice works just as good on this as it does on the nexus.

You bought it locally?

strauss You probably gonna get it anyways, so why ask. :) I just read that guy's extensive review on it, and it seems like it would be your ticket. For the price, you can't go wrong. I recently got a TF300 on 4.0 ICS - and it works fine. Very intuitive and very flexible. For your kid - it would be great. Put a case on it so she doesn't smash it on the floor when it drops. I installed a bunch of kids apps on my iPad1 - which my 3 & 6 yo kids love (jigsaw puzzles, maths, counting, tracing letters, etc). I imagine the Play store should have similar (and more free apps than iTunes). They can get on youtube (browser or youtube app) and look at their favourite cartoons as well.

Yea it's easy money to spend :)
But I just wanted the guys to see it. Sub-$100 ICS 7" Tablet? That's a WIN.

I think if anybody first time buyers wanted a tab for cheap, this is it.

^I didn't read all the reviews. But you would probably want to consider things like wifi range, type of glass, the usb debacle (may not be an issue in your case), longevity, etc.., considering it looks like a 'generic chinese knock-off'. (But I didn't have to tell you that). But again - for a hundred US?? - what the hell!?!

So a little advice needed. I'm in Miami right now and I've been craving the I9300 since it was announced. Now I can get it up here, unlocked/unbranded, for around US$650. My intention was to use it on digicel's 4G network. Would it be better to just buy the S3 from digicel themselves? Anyone knows if its locked to Digi? Any/all advice is much appreciated.

Buy it up there thats what I did.

Digicel offers it with a contract, so you end up paying more in the end.

Get a rooting app off xda-developers forums.

What ROM you using? I find the stock one just so slow. You flashed the ROM with Odin too?

using the tablite2 RC1
its basically the stock de-ox and optimized heavily...its how the os should work ideally, no slow downs thus far and smooth!!!
flahing with odin to get custom recovery
used expresso recovery file
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthr ... ?t=1722304

will run this rom for a while then try CM9 to compare

CM9 would give a better android experience without touchwiz..not a big fan of touchwiz

I tried the Tablite last night, it was a little more responsive with transitions but not opening apps. I tried an AOSP based ROM also, but it was very slow. I'm not sure that these have HW acceleration for the UI like the Samsung Roms.

DroidVPN.

Most of them are good with the paid services. Free VPN apps are always limited.
