No, he doesn't mean it like that, he means on a fundamental scale, time as we think of it does not exist.

If time does not exist (as we know it), how do you explain evolution in this dimension?

but this is the REAL jesus.
why cant you believe it?
you believe a 2000year old book that is filled with things that dont make sense or correlate and the bible was not even written by god.

And as you believe that man is not perfect and a sinner.and u put your whole faith and trust is one book...one book that was written by MAN? Dont you preach to put faith in GOD? and not in MAN?

lol.

"Islam holds that the Qur’an was repeatedly revealed from Allah to Muhammad orally through the angel Jibrīl (Gabriel) over a period of approximately twenty-three years, beginning in 610 CE, when he was forty, and concluding in 632 CE, the year of his death."

So the Quran is the direct word of God. Written down as it was said.

how long after jesus "death" was the bible written?

the Vedas are apauruṣeya "not of human agency", and are directly revealed, and thus are called śruti ("what is heard").
The vedas are written in pure sanskrit. The greatest and most pure of all languages.
Sanskrit is a language so perfect that it cannot be man made.
Thats why its called the language of the gods.
go research sanskrit.

How about this?

John 20:24-29

20:24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

20:25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

20:26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: [then] came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace [be] unto you.

20:27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust [it] into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed.

i wanna say...that you put your faith behind something that is so faulty and can be interpreted so many ways. If its the word of God..why is it in riddle and vague? Why cant it be straightforward and tell you things as it is?

Why are there soo much gaps and things that doesnt make sense or correlate in teh bible?
did jesus intended to confuse the sheit outta people?

And dont think your religion is greater than anybody else.
and you cannot let such faulty and outdated books dictate life presently.
Do you really need a book to tell you whats right and wrong?
If child beggar asks you for food..will you deny this child because some book said so?

10And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

11He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

12For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

13Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

14And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

15For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

16But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

17For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

18Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

19When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

20But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;

21Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

22He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

23But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Why are there soo much gaps and things that doesnt make sense or correlate in teh bible?
did jesus intended to confuse the sheit outta people? See above

And dont think your religion is greater than anybody else. There is only ONE God!
and you cannot let such faulty and outdated books dictate life presently. How is the Bible outdated? This statement can then be implied for other books written before the Bible. The Vedas, for example.
Do you really need a book to tell you whats right and wrong? The Bible is a guide for living. Follow it and we will be able to face life's challenges.
If child beggar asks you for food..will you deny this child because some book said so?

You have just negated your argument! :grab:

If everything always was, there is no need for evolution. It follows that people would also have been "always was". Not so?[/b]

No, he doesn't mean it like that, he means on a fundamental scale, time as we think of it does not exist.

If time does not exist (as we know it), how do you explain evolution in this dimension?[/quote]
If you look at time as energy existing in its own dimension and that time-energy is applied to mass to give space-time, as we know energy and mass are both different forms of the same thing, fundamentally energy we know cannot be created or destroyed, therefore that is what we mean by time just is, it is irrelevant to ask what occurred when energy was in an infinitely condensed state such as the big bang we can't ask questions as to the nature of time then because clearly the laws of physics must have been different then and broke down at the point of the big bang. Everything just exists after that and obeys the current laws that bind them. Yes, 'time' is a convenient way for recording events but it doesn't really exist the way we imagine it.
