Divorce might be hard on the kids, but most of the time Its better than the alternative.

yes, very unfortunate for the kids involved but it's best this way. when the ex and i were together, we fought all the time (reason for us parting ways was that her ex was in the picture). in any event, we get along well now for the sake of my daughter. at least nothing is messy (i didn't want us to stay together, fight and create a messed up childhood for my daughter).

at least i spend a little bit of each day with my daughter (take her to school, pick her up, babysit sometimes, etc) :)

kids will always be the bystanders in these situations, parents will try to make that transition as smooth as possible; but it is a known fact that the children are sometimes forced to choose between parents.

It is good that parents are in good speaking terms for the sake of the children, however it is tough to accept the outcome knowing mummy and daddy not living in the same house.

Not to sound uncaring toward any kid, but sometimes allyuh wimen really don't make it easy for US to be placed in alot of situations either.
divorce and separation from our kids is one of the said situations that we really are left with no choice.
All it takes is deep communication and understanding and honesty from both parties.

Somethings that very very very very few women are capable of exercising.

Agree
Lots of us ignore many warning signs because of love or even infatuation.

eurogirl, she didn't marrid me. we had broken up. she was still involved with her ex. then i get a call from her saying that she's pregnant. so i tried to do the right thing. nevertheless, the ex was still around, even coming to visit her (while i was there) long after the baby was born. i decided that i'd had enough so separation happened (and no, i haven't done any paternity tests).

^^and then make her life as miserable as hell :)

eurogirl,

Fact is, that it boils down to the common issue of women being selfish in most cases and according to them, "I didnt think that it would be a problem".

Let us even talk to one of our ex's...yuh go know problems..
