In a statement, bpTT said the article contained information the company shared at a recent technical meeting "under a condition of confidentiality in which it was expressly stated that the information shared was a forecast view that was subject to change and that further dissemination required bpTT’s consent."

The company said the article alluded to a long-term forecast about natural gas production "which, by its very nature, represents a snapshot at a point in time based on a set of assumptions about future investments and development activity that is subject to change."

It said, "For this reason, we do not share or comment on long-term forecast publicly as we expect that the longer-term outlook will change as exploration, appraisal and development work progress and our job as a responsible operator is to continue to invest, innovate and partner to maximise the recovery of resources in existing and new basins."

The company concluded that it "understands that natural gas production is of national importance. However, forecasts shared without full context can be damaging to country reputation and confidence in our energy industry, particularly as we know these forecasts will change."

They have multiple forecasts and multiple exploration prospects which they can pursue.

hoss, they planning billion dollar investments. the outlook in that meeting WASNT supposed to be made public. the data in that meeting indicated they not getting gas. but, if things change, then they will go to plan B.
right now, them like a maxi in the off peak hours. they on the line, nobody traveling, but IF they get some passengers, they BONG to pull off with a trip... but the outlook right now is, nobody traveling right now.

WHEN they get gas, it MOST likely be deep water and WILL be expensive... and ur not sure HOW much u might find, but MOST likely it will be small finds. but drop by drop does fill the bucket.


if they lucky, they might get a big find, or they might get it in cheaper shallow water.

they have to put out the positive propaganda to keep people sinking money into the ventures, and to keep the natives from worrying and venting dissatisfaction to the govt.
but they know that the returns in any increased investment will be disproportional to that in the past.

URP worker charged for alleged immunisation card scam

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) said a 52-year-old man was charged for allegedly forging immunisation cards.

In a statement, the TTPS said 52-year-old Terry Garib appeared before Magistrate Armina Mohammed-Deonarinesingh yesterday charged with forgery of immunisation cards with intent to deceive.

The TTPS said the accused was not called upon to plead as the charge was laid indictably by PC Jagroop of the San Fernando Police Station.

The TTPS said Garib, an Unemployment Relief Programme (URP) employee of Mt. Stewart Village, Princes Town, was placed on $150,000 bail and was ordered to surrender his passport as part of his bail conditions.

Garib was also a candidate to be a local government representative for the People's National Movement (PNM) in 2016.

He will reappear before the San Fernando Magistrates’ Court on September 14, 2021.

The TTPS said the incident arose out of a report made by security personnel at the San Fernando General Hospital who observed that the accused was allegedly distributing immunization cards concerning COVID-19 vaccinations to persons hired by him to prepare same.

During the course of the investigation, detectives allegedly discovered that a man used a template of a genuine COVID-19 immunization card to make the cards. He was later seen distributing the fake cards.

The suspect was also reportedly found to be in possession of a stamp that bore the words “The Ministry of Health” and which originated from the Ste Madeleine Health Facility.
