Since a lot of people hating on the franchise then all WI players should not play in IPL, BPL, let them go back to making pennies playing lil boy cricket

Amazon Warriors open a can of whoop ass on the Tridents. Polly make 1...

It's instructive that in both innings the batsmen with the most significant contributions were the foreigners eh.

Also I was looking at the schedule and realise that while there are 6 teams, each team will only be playing 7 matches instead of 10 as would be expected in a two round tournament. Therefore each team will meet a couple of their opponents twice. Red Steel for example played the Amazon Warriors on July 31 and August 9, and will also meet the Tallawahs on August 18 after playing them on August 7.

Perhaps this was done because of time constraints or financial considerations. But I wonder what system was used to decide which two opponents a team would face twice?

Anyways match orn. Red Steel: 20/1 @ 4.

We win? Doh make smoke...was sure those points would be shared after the second downpour.

As it stands any of the three cellar placed teams can still make it to the semis. The biggest threat would be from the Hawksbills since they have a superior run rate and a game in hand.

Red Steel must win their remaining two matches to give themselves the best possible chance of qualification.

thats the fawked up ting, the 2 games we won by less than 5 runs so we didnt even get to build a decent net run rate with the win

And whose to blame? You play poorly you suffer the consequences. Red Steel have dug themselves into a hole (albeit not impossible to get out of) with their insipid performances especially early on in the tournament. With that said in t20 fortunes change rapidly and anything can happen.

Well, the Hawksbills defeated the Tridents last night and with that have leapfrogged us into 4th place.

At least Bravo and dem have some focus now...is do or die.
