In the market for some pro or semi pro socket set metric 3/8 to 1/2 inch drive. I am not sure if Kobalt is sold here, who sells Irwin? What is considered a pro sockets set in TnT? Stanley ? Teckton ?

Pro sockets is big money in Trinidad.
Cheaper to just buy cheap impact sockets and use it with non impact tools.

Pro sockets : mac, blu point, snap on, Cornwell, wiha, wera,

Kobalt is a store brand from Lowes. Tekton is from the people that made MIT. Stanley, Irwin, and Crescent are solid tool brands. Craftsman is middle ground with Mac, Wiha, Proto and Snap-On at the top.

If I were just starting out to build a set, I would buy Crescent because of the selection available online.

The Goodyear in pricesmart has good variety of sizes and takes a beating and is only $619. You can't go wrong for what you get for the price.

Go L&G in sando.

has tons of decent tools, cheap stuff and good tools.
has gearwrench, wright,stanley,klein tools ect.

the gearwrench socket sets are good deals, ideal for precision mechanic work. prices comparable to online prices if not cheaper bc older stock.
They have some short metric impact for 160$ O_O 8-19 GW.
seen some 49USD socket sets for 240$
https://www.amazon.com/GearWrench-80554 ... WEHDN9B956

Personally for sockets i use stanley because i got a master kit with most of everything, whatever else i just purchase additionally eg, 22mm 3/8 ect.

impact sockets stanley, i bought a set of tekton and wasnt impressed with the sidewall thickness, dewalt is a bit better.

ratchets, Gearwrench... 120xp 4 piece set and dont look back. I have a couple pieces of the 84T version and its amazing.

allied has some good kits that cover most of what you looking for tho, about 800$.
1/4,3/8,1/2. metric standard and some hex ect. Good deal

I think it is channellock they have now.
The kit in Pricesmart is missing one important piece for me, an extension bar greater than 3 inches. Cause a spark plug socket is useless if it can't reach..

But I do like those big kits in the blow molded cases. They're easy to carry when you're headed somewhere and you can always tell whenever one of your pieces is missing. They make great backup kits.

@ted_v2 l.f. A socket to remove the spark plugs from a slyphy engine. Normal depth socket can't fit.

if it using the same plugs as the tiida/y12, thats a 14mm deep socket in 3/8 drive you gonna need. i use a 10" extension on mine to reach properly.

Yep.
They sell them single in most parts places. It's a 14mm deep socket. 9/16. Same thing.

My regular 14mm didn't work, wasn't long enough. The one I purchased was a 1cm or so slightly longer. So it's a hit and miss with regular sockets.

I paid like 40$ for the socket. Never used once.

my karcher dirt blaster rotary turbo nozzle went on the bomb yesterday
it started sticking and no longer rotating

went and borrowed the nozzle from my sisters barely used unit and it failed soon after
appears to be a fairly common problem

might try to do a ratch and fix it or buy a third party professional one
