They said the end is in sight but not over yet. They also said a marathon runner doesn't stop running when he sees the finish line some distance ahead.

Apparently in the last MOH conference on Wednesday Dr. Richards said that the CMO and the Minister of Health were absent due to an important meeting with the Attorney General.

What could this be about except bringing back public health regulations? The AG is the one who drafts that right?

Covid is still and will always be present, however it does not pose a huge threat to public health as it once did.

In other words, relax, take off your mask and live life like normal while you have a chance.

I take off my mask in outdoor settings but still wear it indoors when around ppl. There is still the long covid risk.

I once had severe dizziness and others things several weeks AFTER recovering from dengue ( I went to school a few days after the virus cleared itself but before it started) and missed a few weeks school so I know post viral syndromes are very real. Even several months after when I went back to school I would get dizziness or faint feeling when I stand up. Not just in school but in church or even at home.

Like them People in Couva getting lazy

You mean to tell me they couldn't find at least one person that died from a random cause to pin a covid death on???
All you need to do is cough before you die and you are suspected of dying with covid. The PCR tests result will come back after the death certificate for covid is written and submitted.

Its really not that hard.

They need to try harder.

There's no further need for COVID briefings.

In the last three weeks, only 3 vaccinated persons died from COVID. 48 free-thinkers died in the same three weeks, but they got their briefings from Facebook.

and so it begins... the Eugenics movement picking up steam:

Parent Calls For Removal Of Mask-Wearing Recommendation In Schools
September 23, 2022
TTT News

The mother of the child who was removed from Goodwill Industries of the West Indies earlier this week believes her child may have been singled out for not wearing his mask.

Speaking with the media on Friday, Mrs. Johnann Jerry-Lovell said other students do not wear their masks while on the school compound.

https://www.ttt.live/parent-calls-for-r ... n-schools/

From the video, the Principal of the school says the school is for Disabled and special children, some of whom have Asthma and Diabetes, putting them at higher risk for COVID19-related health concerns. The Principal herself is very elderly and frail.

But no, these parents and their Healthy and Strong children do not care about those with health concerns. These Healthy and Strong children want to "breathe freely," without being impeded by the rights of those medically vulnerable.

The right of the medically vulnerable to get an education. The right of the medically vulnerable to participate in the workforce. All secondary to the right of the Strong and Healthy to "breathe freely"

This is straight up EUGENICS. And the population is supporting it.

This is more accurately callousness or callous disregard. It is certainly not eugenics.

Not wearing a COVID mask isn't much of a signal due to the diminished risk of disease caused by the recent spike in infections.

Wearing a COVID mask is likely a nod to being overly cautious.

Posting about a person wearing a COVID mask as a possible "status symbol," while noting that the OP was NOT wearing a COVID mask, is a simply an instance of a free-thinker just trying to stir up some online shitt.

Somewhere in the first few hundred pages of this thread I mentioned this, and it happened. Congratulations to the Doctor on the award for service to our country.

CMO Parasram awarded ORTT
Chief Medical Officer Dr Roshan Parasram and banker Professor Sterling Frost have been awarded the country’s highest honour - the Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
Parasram, 44, received the award in the sphere of public health. He has been lauded in many quarters for the way in which he’s led T&T’s battle on the COVID-19 pandemic. Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley had repeatedly credited Parasram with sound leadership in the COVID battle and paid tribute to him up to recently.

President’s House yesterday stated, “Dr Roshan Parasram served his country with distinction during the uncertainty and disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“As Chief Medical Officer, he stewarded the nation through highs and lows, his unflappable demeanour and professional approach providing much-needed calm amidst the COVID-19 storm. He quickly became a household name as he tirelessly provided updates and critical information, engaging the media and public daily. He has brought his profession to new heights and given unwavering, distinguished and outstanding service to Trinidad and Tobago.”

All the covid medical officers who were on the ground from day one are all getting awards with Dr Roshan Parasram being awarded the ORTT.

On the ground? They never see inside a hospital in years unless they went to visit a family member
