I don't usually preach violence against other human beings but this really had me wishing ... GGs one shot mantra had some merit.

Don't come and tell me anything about the law when these cockroaches are running about doing what they want. And yes, I am pissing angry because my little cousin called me last night to tell me about her experience of being robbed at gunpoint in Woodbrook last Friday.

My family have also been victims of crime at gunpoint.

But this video is just wow. Robbery at a Chinese grocery.

An African Chaguanas-Curepe taxi driver had said he scrutinises persons asking to travel with him. If he finds you're looking like a possible bandit he blanks you. He said 4 out of 5 times he may be wrong but the 1 time he is right is worth it for the times he is wrong because of his and his passengers' safety.

I don't know who they vote for but I can tell you what race they belong to. As I edited my previous post to state, I've been robbed 4 times and of the 10 criminals involved in those incidents, 9 of them were Africans.

I used to be a laid back person that associated with persons of different backgrounds but I learnt being open minded about certain things comes with risks that not worth it.

Man, 24, Charged with Murder of Common Law Wife

A 24-year-old man is expected to appear before a San Fernando Magistrate tomorrow, charged with the murder of his common law wife which occurred on December 3rd.

QUAMISE VANCE, a security officer, of Temple Street, La Romaine, was charged yesterday by Detective PC Shawn Lall, of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI), Region Three, for the murder of his
31-year-old common law wife, Sadie Dasrath.

VANCE was charged following the advice received from Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, Joan Honore-Paul, on Saturday 11th December, 2021.

The accused was arrested on December 7th, 2021.

According to police reports, during the wee hours of December 3rd, a man told an off-duty police officer who resides at an apartment complex along Temple Street, La Romaine, that around 1 am on December 3rd, 2021, he found his common law wife unresponsive at their shared home.

The man told the police officer that around 11 pm on December 2nd, he and the woman allegedly had an argument over the consumption of alcohol. The off-duty police officer, acting on the information relayed to him visited the apartment where he reportedly discovered the lifeless and nude body of the man’s wife lying upon a bed in the bedroom.

The woman’s body bore a wound to her head. The off-duty police officer immediately called for assistance from police dispatchers who deployed several units to the scene.
Officers of the HBI Region Three subsequently took lead of the investigation.

Further enquiries into Dasrath’s death revealed that a post mortem on her body determined that her fatal injuries which included broken ribs were sustained contrary to that which was reported to police.

Investigations later culminated with the arrest of VANCE who was charged with murder.

The probe was spearheaded by Superintendent (Ag.), Sean Dhillpaul, and supervised by Insp Anil Maharaj and Sgt Richardson Elvin, all of the HBI Region Three.

Around 7.45 am today HP Units 13, 40 and 48 responded to a 10-14 from the Command Centre and proceeded to UBH Chaguanas in the vicinity of Heartland Plaza where ERP officers who were proceeding south along said Highway challenged a white Aqua PDR 8636 which was driving in the same direction in an erratic manner, it sped off and the ERP vehicle gave chase.

Vehicle PDR 8636 subsequently ran off the roadway in the vicinity of Heartland Plaza and the suspects of Spanish origin were apprehended with what appeared to be blocks of illicit drugs (cocaine).

The suspects were conveyed to the Chaguanas CID in HP48 in company with the ERP officers in their vehicle with the items recovered. The vehicle was wrecked by Balchans Wrecking and was conveyed under escort to the Chaguanas CID. The scene was also visited by Sgt John and a party of the Chaguanas Task Force.
