Notorious Scullman, Light source fog lol (nothing else used)......bout 10 mins before total darkness.....


crossdrilled, Yeah..no complaints yet.....just need a good lens (and to figure out how to use the ting :oops: )........then one day ah go take shots half as good as allyuh.....

i know everyone has their bag of tricks but it may be a good idea to put up our settings with the photos. Help the plebs nah!

It's already all there in his EXIF data

Canon XS

SS 1/30

AV f16

FL 10mm

ISO 800


I use a EXIF Viewer plug in for Firefox

yup... great tool that exif viewer


great shot Kevin

but why not open up the aperture a bit instead of using such a high ISO. The XS tends to be very grainy at anything over 400 ISO

Duane 3NE 2NR,thanks alot. honestly, i forgot the iso was set so high. is only afterwards when i was about to try the rolling shot with the tercel i realised it was that high. normally have it between 100 - 400

Love the rolling shot Midnight Demon!

I agree with Duane, a lower ISO would have given you less noise (not that there's anything wrong with noise), but it would have also allowed you to use a wider aperture, making your background a bit softer. The house to the left takes away from the "movement" of the pic.

Notorious Scullman, thanks for the advise. was kinda hard to get a piece o highway without distracting background and without getting other cars in the shot, here is a shot with iso @ 200
