As you mention that, I was thinking about making desktops images from my photos, and posting here, so people could get something useful instead of just looking at it online. I was wondering what are the more popular sizes or aspect ratio to make your photo so people could use it as a desktop image. I know that the standard size out of the camera does not cater for that use.

Nice idea. Easiest option would be two versions: 1920x1200 & 1600x1200. Those two should be able to scale down to most of the popular resolutions. Very few people would need anything larger.

I would suggest posting just the small (500px) preview image along with a link to download the wallpaper sizes. That way, this thread won't get cluttered or take too long to load.

I just got my tameron 70-300mm zoom lens for my T1I, heres a shot of the full moon tonight the last night of the year.

i did a lill sharpening , this was the best shot out of 50

ISO 200 F/18 1/250sec
