Bhangwansingh and Peake's carried it. FT Farfan has the Bahco and Truper versions. I've owned the Fiskars for more than twenty years.

Thank pugboy, I work walking distance from Moses. Adnj, I just buy, didn't know about brand, but got a Fiskars for $331. I have some cocoa trees to prune, didn't really want to buy a chainsaw pole cutter, just for a little bit of use.

Fiskars is a very good brand of pruning equipment
their shears last a very long time

You will need a core bit to cut the faucet holes and special tile/stone bits for shaping edges

First run.
Used some kitty mat to separate the cylinder from the resin. It didn't lay smooth and some particles got in the resin when I was laying the fabric.
Fabric goes down easy though. Takes the curves really nice. ImageImage

That makes a lot of sense. If you do decide that the manual pole saw is too much work, consider an electric instead of gasoline. You have to drag a cord and you can't use it in wet areas but very little maintenance and about $900.

^^Yup, you buy the engine part and then whatever attachment you want, brush cutter, hedge cutter or pole cutter. They told me you wouldn't get the amount of reach as a true pole cutter. FtFarfan only has the pole cutter right now, Trintrac says they sell the Echo engine and pole cutter attachment model, but it sells like hot bread. I see a spranger using a circle saw blade on his wacker to prune trees by my neighbour....
I tested the manual one I bought works decent enough.

Somebody died from that a while back
The blade fractured and hit them

from the newspaper report I read it was a circular saw blade mounted on a wacker

isnt a band saw blade narrow like a hacksaw blade ?
it would take some antics to get that mounted on a wacker shaft.

but this brings up an important point
When you are buying blades for your tools make sure the RPM on the blades are rated for the tool or higher.
loads of people are killed or badly injured because of the blades breaking at high speed than they were rated for.

the Schindiwa comes with a circular saw looking blade to cut shrubs , but i never used it because the flat blade cuts shrubs 2 to 3 inches diameter without a problem .
most of these brands now have an attachment for multitool
here is a link for the schindiwa
http://www.shindaiwa.com/products/categ ... s_type=953

The reason that you need a brush cutter blade is because of the temper of the steel. Circular saw blades are harder and now usually have carbide tips attached. Carbide tips can fly off and a circular saw blade will shatter before a spec brush cutting blade. That said, a brush cutting blade needs to be sharpened often just like a chain saw.

There are plenty of multi-attachment tools out there and most of them are limited by the smaller engine and two-piece drive shaft. But if you are only keeping the yard around your house clean, they work well enough.

I have the 4 point star and long flat blade for my stihl
the star take plenty licks with hard shrubs etc

the flat blade cuts turf grass real nice like a lawn mower
actually better to use than string once they area reasonably flat and no stones

i have the star blade for my fs85, have a 230 but thats just string. EPIC beating on the blade, i hitting drill pipe post, all kinda thing.

For anyone looking for Drills, L&G having m12 1/4 hex impact driver for 600$, not sure how much batteries but i got my tool with two when i bought it a year ago at least.

and Allied has the dewalt 20v for 1k, one battery. Not sure what model but its not the highest end stuff.
