Imo..the best of the 3 candidates to lead the UNC is Vasant.

I guess being more aggressive in a campaign can help but Rowley won because of his honesty and being straight up NORMAL with people. It wasn't like Kamla where she had to consult with an entire team just to brief the people on really simple things. Kamla acts like a CEO, her response is how a business person responds to a question. It was really fake like acting. I looked carefully at every PNM meeting and Rowley was just normal and down to earth, he didn't give the impression of a politician trying to hoodwink the people, unlike Kamla.

But the fact that Moonilal got more votes than Vasant shows that UNC voters do not think with their brain, believing Kamla to be the mother hen that will lay the golden egg for them. This can be reflected by them folks who paint their car with a picture of Kamla. Or the ones with a pic of Kamla in their puja room next to lord Shiva with a mala around her picture.
