For this recipe try goat shoulder next time , its a softer piece than stew , stew is odd bits and pieces but the shoulder comes in a slice with 1 bone easier ..

thanks eurogirl. Gosh, that goat tasted so good it's a shame that some pieces were tough. Where can I land goat shoulder?

Soon I wanna tackle another blasphemy. I wanna cook duck other than curry. The french make it look so scrum-diddly-umptious that I have to try it.

I'm sure if I tell my family what I wanna try they'll tell me not to waste the damn duck.

Food basket has goat shoulder in the slices , as soon as u go the meat section u'll spot it ..

What's wrong with Duck other than curried ? I've had it baked , fried ,stewed ? I totally understand what u mean about wasting a good duck in curry . Good thing is right b4 chag there is a poultry depot selling duck 9.99$ a lb for duck , tell her don't roast it for u make sure but when u go home u'd have to get rid of de fine feather and chop it up according to how u want it to cook .

Try it baked with an orange juice glaze .. baked duck is juicy and lovely .A nice slow roast with the the fat juices running thru the meat is a lovely thing . I swear ,that slight pull of the duck meat in my mouth and its rich flavour with mild seasoning on u're taste buds is truly decadent . Ask your depot for a hen duck if possible its a bit softer than the male . Plus that citrus kick ! uhhmmm .... if u must satisfy the masses with their curry duck do only the breast meat part of the duck slow oven roasted and curry the rest ! .

Yea i'm a foodie but I can't cook as much as u , I have a ton of tricks tho coz my anuties and mommy are great cooks ! and I get to watch lol

oh next time u're searing u're lamb , season with a teaspoon of lemon /lime juice ,and use some cinnamon in it .. the lime juice keeps the meat pink instead of turning it black ( which looks awful ) and the cinnamon well it cuts the renk and boosts its roast flavour . That way u can finish off in the oven thus preventing chewy meat .. That's how we do roasts in my house .. Marinade overnight .. Sear in its juices and then finish off in the oven @ 250 deg for 2 hrs .

A pugboy - Bought them cleaned from JTA, I suppose the fish processing plant missed one or two. I personally don't mind.

Small shrimp don't have much grit, I spent Easter @ Cedros, caught and ate live shrimp, don't think shrimp was ever as full of flavour and richness than that.
