How you doing this for the bold 9000 digicel

download that, install it, delete the 'vendor.xml' file in c:\program files\rim..etc (you can just search the file)

then connect your berry and run the update in the desktop manager

OS 5.0 isn't half bad. Definitely makes the BB options a lot more user friendly. Feels like the options were Symbian inspired.

Yea i backed it up. did a restore just now and still nothing, i only had a few contacts on it though i haven't fully switch phones as yet i may have to manually enter these again

A folder in MY DOCUMENTS but when i open it it doesn't have anything in it

well then it didnt back up

the back up file is a .ipa extension

it normally takes about 5 minutes as it backs up contacts, sms, emails, tasks, memos
