Real played a scrappy game IMO, nothing like i expected from them, then again i think Kaka would have been a valuable contributor. Respect was given to Messi tonight as the marking on him was tight, but once again he proves why he's the number one player in the world. Valdez had a particularly good game, Iniesta and Xavi were quality as usual and Pedro scored a good goal.
What surprised me in this match was the pace i saw from Alves and Puyol, at one point a Barca and Real player were at full stride trying to win a ball on the line and Puyol ran past both to win it.
This match clearly meant alot to both teams, but once again Barca showed that youth development is greater than bank accounts.
