We currently have enough doses for 60% of the population, I see absolutely no reason other than antivax BS that we can't have 60-70% coverage by end of the year.

Exactly, this isn't really anything wrong with the vaccine itself. This is just more than likely an allergic reaction she personally had to something in it. That can happen with ANY drug or any food for that matter.
Statistically, I am more likely to suffer anaphylaxis due to wasp stings in a year than people getting allergic reactions to vaccines.

No, not really, everyone knew that Pfizer and the rest of vaccines would eventually get approval. Pfizer share price increased just under 3% today. Not surprisingly you think 3% is the same as "tripled"... says a lot.

You talking about share price do you think that after this approval they will charge the same amount for one dose of vaccine now that they are the "approved" vaccine lol that says alot..anyway Big pharma has spoken so it is done

Pfizer raises sales forecast for Covid vaccine by almost a third to $33bn
US drugmaker expects to deliver 2.1bn doses of the coronavirus shot in 2021

JULY 28 2021

Pfizer has raised its full-year revenue projections for its coronavirus vaccine by almost a third after the shot helped the drugmaker to almost double its sales in the second quarter.

The US group, which markets a widely used Covid-19 vaccine along with Germany’s BioNTech, upgraded its 2021 revenue forecast for the shot to $33.5bn from the $26bn it had predicted in the previous quarter.

The group, which shares profits on sales of the Covid shot evenly with BioNTech, generated direct sales of $7.8bn from the vaccine in the second quarter.

Pfizer estimates the income-before-tax margin on sales of the vaccine to be “in the high 20 per cent range”. On a call with analysts, executives reiterated they expected a booster dose to be required eight to twelve months after vaccination, though with Delta that may have to happen “a bit earlier”.

Pfizer’s second-quarter sales rose 92 per cent to $18.98bn, while earnings per share climbed 58 per cent to 98 cents, the group said on Wednesday.

The company said sales from its overall business, excluding the impact of the vaccine, rose 10 per cent. The drugmaker raised its full-year sales guidance to a range of $78bn to $80bn, up from $72.5bn expected in the previous quarter.

"Full approval" *Except for everyone under 16. I remember getting all kinda vaccines when I was a child. Why can't this be used for children if it has "full approval"

Can they say now how long the vaccine lasts?

Why use a sample of only 45000 when there is real world data for millions who have taken? How many people tested positive out of that 45000?

They just purposefully being very vague. Also I saw they said the vaccine was to prevent disease not infection. So even Pfizer is admitting that hard immunity with their vaccine is not possible

Different test subjects and doseages.
But everybody already knows that.

Mmoney607 wrote:Can they say now how long the vaccine lasts?

At least 6 months, maybe more.
But everybody already knows that.

Mmoney607 wrote:Why use a sample of only 45000 when there is real world data for millions who have taken?

That was the number of test subjects.
But everybody already knows that.

Mmoney607 wrote:How many people tested positive out of that 45000?

(1 - efficacy) × number of test subjects.
But you should already know that.

Mmoney607 wrote:They just purposefully being very vague.

You're just having difficulty with the literature.
You probably didn't know that.

Mmoney607 wrote:Also I saw they said the vaccine was to prevent disease not infection.

Vaccines do both.
But you already know that.

Mmoney607 wrote:So even Pfizer is admitting that hard immunity with their vaccine is not possible

If you have hard immunity, speak to your physician.
But you already know that.

Heard from a contact at the MoH that after 6 months boosters would be allowed. No idea which vaccine will be used for it though.

Whilst govt may be trying to keep our figures down, some is still fundamentally wrong as our active cases still stay around 5000-5800, and had not moved for the past few months...
I seriously doubt we have so many asymptomatic cases here that are spreading the disease, it has to be that people are going out knowing fully well they are sick!... selfish stupid people.

That , and the unreported illegals.I know for a fact that some of them afraid to go for vaccines because they will be identified.Govt should have a vaccine amnesty for illegals.

So since our policy is 2 doses of who approved vaccines and combinations, I expect that she will have to pay to quarantine when she returns, as she is an unvaccinated national.

She was recently fully vaccinated so that third dose theory is out the window more than likely it was a PR stunt and the hospital deleted the tweet , that's not suspicious at all
