Hadda be. :(
Will have to pick up a used one online. Im not liking the new version logitech makes, with most of the buttons in touch screen menus.

I really feel that's landed. I know surround sound setups + receivers are heavy so bringing them via skybox may be a good bit. I guess that 6 could be bumped up to a 700 to accommodate shipping.

The Dayton B652's are what I currently use paired with the Dayton 10" powered sub. Best available bang for your buck. Raptorize it. Lol!

Saw these in Pricesmart Chag. for $1999

http://www.amazon.com/Polk-Audio-Channe ... olk+RM6750

They also have a Harmon Kardon 5.1 rx for around the same price

Both will serve well.

Anybody knows where I can source a yamaha v375 receiver locally? Or could recommend a different brand of similar level? Thanks in advance.

what do yall use for PC audio? I have been using a Lepai 2020a+ tripath amp and a pretty decent pair of DIY bookshelf speakers. I`m ready to try something different now though. I`m going to get one of these:

and build a chassis with connectors like these:

Anybody else lorse dey apple tv after a power outage? Says setting date and time and cycles. When you press menu, I only get computers and settings.

Logging in to the neighbour wifi solved it temporarily, but after several powercuts, same thing again.

I know it's a router/firewall/time server related issue but just asking if anybody else experienced this and how to solve.

try restoring it via iTunes.

Get a micro USB cable and plug the Apple TV into your PC running iTunes. You can do a restore or reset.

If that doesn't work and the wifi on the appletv was damaged by the power outage, you can use a wired Ethernet connection from your appletv to your router instead.

If you research, you'll see it's a common issue. It was on a UPS, but lost power after an extended outage.

Nothing is wrong with the apple tv itself. Sent it by Raptor and it works fine by him. But on my network, it cant seem to access the time server to set the date and time and move on as normal.

Next step will be a call to blink. Really looking forward to that one, to see if they will turn off the firewall on their end.

very frustrating.

^ curiouser and curiouser

What router are you using? The Blink router?

Given the fact that you want to stream HD content it may be a good idea to get a stand alone router from Linksys, Netgear etc.

The Apple AirPort Express is also an excellent router.

Yeah the blink. But hear nah, adding another router to the chain will have what benefit exactly?

^ you are bypassing the Blink router entirely. You will just be using the modem part of the Blink device.
Also I'd strongly advise that you use a wired connection from your router to your Apple TV using CAT 6 or better cable and make use of Gigabit ethernet.

Got through. Had to call TSTT and ask them to disable firewall on their side. Worked like a charm, after many weeks of fiddling around.

Anyhow, should they put it back up? What's the risk?
