Country_Bookie wrote:One of Kamla biggest failings is her lack of judgement when it comes to the people she associates with and puts in positions of power/ influence.
It's why the PP government had so many scandals while in office; think back to the immature people like partap , Glenn, Reshmi etc.
She never learnt from those mistakes and continues to have people like Anil Roberts and Gerald Ramdeen in parliament, after all their scandals. One was associated with life sport and giving money to gangs. The other collected tens of millions for legal briefs from his riding partner &&. She now reunites with Jack despite all the stories about bribery, corruption and him facing extradition.
It's also why the non UNC till they dead people who don't support PNM will never vote for her again. She'll continue to win the strongholds but will lose the marginal seats next GE. PNM in the midst of a 15 to 20 year stretch in power, just like 1956 to 1986.
