Yup, try another seller or use another courier.
Some companies are now blocking shipping to fright forwarders

or try to slightly adjust the address. Leave out the 'PO Box' or 'Suite'

perfumes are considered HAZMAT (hazardous material). You need to check with your skybox if they can ship them, and expect an extra delay shipping if they do.

Some may attract hazmat charges as it is liquid and can leak.

I am with Aeropost and a few weeks ago I bought some smart LED bulbs and they were sent to my Aeropost address with no issues. I tried yesterday to buy a few more bulbs and all of a sudden, they can't ship to my address. When I checked the possible reasons on Amazon, the most likely reason is that the items are being shipped to a freight forwarder and these items are not for export.

Any way around this? Is Aeropost the only freight forwarder getting this issue?

this happened to me also yesterday. Went to re-buy something I bought fine about 2-3 weeks ago, and boom, won't ship to the skybox address now.

I am thinking it is maybe a shipping capacity problem on Amazon's end? This seems to pop up from time to time since COVID hit.

also for the guy who wanted to know about the taxes on LED light bulbs - I got them and was charged 20% duty and 12.5% VAT.

I ordered two bottles 2 days apart, came on separate flights, got them without issue, was charged 20% duty, vat and opt. No hazmat issues or extra charges. Aeropost btw.

Just made sure and edited my prealert with a proper description, "boss perfume", "avon perfume". Keep it simple and clear, they don't need the details on the items, that's what the invoice is for.

Of the two I bought, 1 selling down here for 700, got it for 400ish, the other one was selling here for 950 if you find it for sale, and it cost me about 670.

an update on this. Just tried it again and it went through.

So if you're getting the "Can't ship to this address" message on Amazon... wait a few days and try again.

I don’t have any problems with BestBuy shipping to a freight forwarder
However I get the problem with Target and Oficemax

Actually no. OPT is always paid.

When OPT was introduced, a short time after, Aeropost changed the skybox address for all customers. The new address, when used as the shipping address, allowed customers to purchase items without the 7% taxes incurred in the US.

Prior to the OPT, customers would buy an item online and incur the 7% state tax on all purchases. OPT came along and then customers had to pay the extra 7% OPT on top of the 7% state tax on online purchases from the merchant.

With Aeropost changing the address, the 7% state tax was not incurred for packages shipped to the new address so all customers paid was the 7% OPT. This remains to this day.

if you buy it through their website you don't pay that OPT. but they charge an "All in One" fee (which might very well contain that OPT eh)

Ah, I follow what you are saying. I've never purchased from their website or using the all in one price. I was explaining specifically for when you buy online and ship to your skybox.

But I think you are spot on tho.

I had abandoned Best Buy because they started giving trouble to sky boxes a few years ago but I guess I’ll try back
