Only a idiot who don't know their rights would take that BS excuse.... I have changed a phone at bmobile (gf's not mine) ...I believe within 6 months u can get a new phone ..6 months-1 year they will attempt to repair it. On the other hand though its their right to check it for water damage, falls etc. But all that virus talk etc is ridiculous. They will get away with that if the customer doesn't know better or legitimately messed up the phone.
Ever seen the condition of some ppl phones? Like it went thru a war!!

ABA Trading LTD wrote:lol @ warranty

for warranty to be valid from either bmobile or digicel, the phone needs to stay in the box and never be used. if it have a single scratch or scuff mark....

"nah boss this phone fall down...warranty void"

Never had any probs with warranty with them even when there were one or two scuff marks. Bmo that is.

i have the STL100-1, called TSTT and upgraded my BIS plan to a 4G plan and still only getting EDGE access because apparently TSTT has to sort out something on their end with an APN issue... :\

YUP, be very careful, dealers will sell you phones with the wrong 3G/4G bands because the consumer dont know better. Some ppl thing the 9930 is the successor to the 9900 cause its a diff model number!!

Bmobile and Digicel will be launching in early April 2013, Bmobile may have in stock first though, prices i suspect will be less than 3rd party dealers on contract plus u get your 1yr warranty.

If you are buying from a dealer make sure you confirm the model variant, there are 4 variants
the STL-1002 does not have the local 1900mhz band required for HSPA/HSPA+

So in other words, you're better off with the STL100-1 (aka R072) or the STL100-3 (aka R070) right?

If one is concerned about LTE the latter is more intriguing.
