how yours holding up effective? i know this fall in your battlefield
right now im trying to get my hands on another modem to see if that is the problem

Yes same issue I have been having for the longest while, but then it eased up and then started back.

When I first got it for some reason it work real good for them few weeks then it kept going downhill. The only solution I found was to hit the reset button on the modem then 3 seconds after unplug it for 20 seconds. For some reason this combination causes it to start working again, no idea why. But you may have to do it every hour or so.

And on Flow Trinidad website it says Cable and Wireless. You would still think this is the same 3rd world Columbus company judging from our experience. Seems its only Barbados that C&W is forced to actually have some kind of standard.

Here's food for thought.
Although they don't offer the best service.
How about deliberate action by someone trying to make Flow look bad and accelerate a migration of customers.
They wouldn't be the first Telecom to suffer malicious damage to equipment.

^^Yep, they change the modem. The 31 channels include all the local channels, HGTV, A&E, Lifetime, GSN and a few others I cant remember. Had the 30MB package before and thought it wont hurt to get television for free...

Ah I see. I called this in over the phone. I did not get a list of the channels and what I'd get. I simply had the broadband package and to add TV for free with no contract and the local channels seems great.
Any international news channels?
Anyone with a link for information on this promotion?
How is the modem any more stable, wifi etc?

You know what I can't get Flow website clearly says VAT Inclusive

https://discoverflow.co/trinidad/intern ... s-packages

But when they bill you its $200 a month plus Vat which brings it up to like $230. So these people have false advertising?

^ I go have to check the read out on the bill and see why exactly it costing $230, if you saying you absolutely sure the price is $199.99 flat.

Far as I know I never sign up for any phone service.

EDIT: Update

Seems the issue is late fee that add up.

I have the 30Mb package and called them to get the free avs tv. got it installed last week Wednesday. I had the standard modem before and was told that I had to take the new large looking wifi modem they had. I did not have a good experience with the old wifi modem. I have no noticed any stability issues with this new wifi modem as yet but I'm keeping a close eye on it.

Soon after they installed it TV6 was not showing. We called them and eventually it appeared the next day. Then soon after that all the US local channel stopped showing, I called them for that also but it never started showing. In the end the free tv works for me as I intended to go buy a tv antennae soon so this saves me money, I only needed a way to get the local stations to complement the other internet streaming services I subscribe to.

Flow really needs to work on their service . Internet and cable service have been down at my location since Wednesday 27th January 2016. Call on that date to CSR Veronica indicated that there was an issue with my drop line . The next possible scheduled service date given was as the 4th of February. More than a week to check a residential customer ? This nonsense tells us of the inefficiencies in our markets. I have almost called everyday . The CSRs Veronica , Antonio and others have indicated that the requisite information has been sent to the Service Department . A friend also told me of the week waiting time when he too lost service . How is this acceptable ? I may take this to the RIC .
