Stephon. wrote:Yeah but Apple who claim to be so big, Blackberry come from 999th place and beat them? Nah boy that real embarrassing!

Not really, I mean apple being the benchmark still after these years is a feat but Samsung must feel the salt in their wounds even more, after taking so long to outsell the iPhone (s3) only to have the i5 regain that and then z10 just waltz into the picture and put them back into 3rd place?

In less than a quarter? Thank god Samsung not from penal, that is thing men will drink Lanate for.

In bb news, what Bluetooth headsets you guys using? I saw some Chinese branded stuff on the forum for $150 or so and Digicel has a basic Motorola for $180 iirc. I had a poantronics 510 but lost it in one of the vehicles, dunno if I wanna go back to that design.

was just talking to the guy on facebook he said Monday they would give pricing, they are reliable since i bought my my storm 2 from there when it came out and it was cheaper than TSTT

i which Bmoble would bring out there quick so i can atleast have a price range

any reason why u only want to purchase from network, me just for the 1 year warranty since most places only give 6 months

not bad but custom would kill you with price to clear, lets say they charge 600 to clear that's 4850 hopefully bmoble price is lower

yea have the same problem over a month now

While holding the + volume button down, press the power button for a couple secs. If there is any power at all in the battery, you should see the same window as you would if you tapped on the battery icon. Choose restart.

My daughter's 16g did that as she broke off the usb charging port and the battery went dead. It now charges fine via the rapid charge stand.

PM me if you need more help.

Same for me....even a lot of the dealers who claim to give a 6 month warranty give u a run around should a issue arise. And with such a new device there is always a chance of picking up a lemon. Network is a better chance of a hassle free return.

Just gonna chime in with a few things:

T-Mobile device and BIS services like BBM not working? If it doesnt work after an OS wipe/reinstall consider that the PIN may be blocked, i've seen it happen.

Variances in Z10 prizes here are great, between $5,000 and $9,000(stupidly crazy). But the difference is due to the fact that some dealers bought the UK versions as they came out first which sold for 550 pounds/euro which means almost $6000. the cheaper deals you are seeing are models from Canada which are $600CDN so $3,600.

Bmobile & Digicel will be launching in about a month roughly, and from what i hear pricing is going to be competitive and cheaper than what u seeing from independent dealers right now, i expect $5,000 prepaid and attractively subsidised on post paid.

An anecdote: Every single person i have showed the Z10 to (mostly iphone and android users) could not say anything negative about it at all. They obviously didnt want to rate it up, but some did anyway cause the device is really just that impressive. All the BB users i've showed it to went a lil bit crazy.

They should be getting it Approx mid-March and then you will see a flood of devices available from dealers locally.

I just want a white to make the trinity red/white/black :) and after that a Q10

They HAVE made a lot of progress tho ... compared to the BB7 devices. I thought they would fail tho not gonna lie but I had a conversation with someone last week that said he saw quite a few since it was released (abroad). More S3s and iSheep than BB tho lol

They've actually made huge progress vs previous OS7 devices. I probably wouldn't mind owning one now. Along with my Android, ofc.

The only informed opinions on BB10 are from people who actually use the device, not just hold it and poke/swipe for 30 seconds. There are people who reviewed the device after having it for 2 hours, the long term reviews and opinions are the only ones that will give the more accurate picture (for better or for worse).

Case in point - Engadget long term review of the Z10, and we know how hostile that site has been in the past during the BBOS days

I just played around with one. Honestly. It Bess. The screen looks great. Apps launch quickly. Gestures take a bit to get used to. I didn't get to play with the apps since it wasn't mine but I'm it's on par with what was described in blogs (a few but not a lot) I love how the edges are used in the gestures. They work similar to zephyr on iOS.
