After watching the match last night i think its high time more tech should be introduced in to the game of cricket why is it that the tv official cant use hawk eye, the infrared camera etc what was it about four maybe five shouts for lbw that hawkeye showed to go on to the wicket and what about the stumping coming down to the end did the tv ump. have all the angles ...... just my rant for today ..

starting later on this year i think...the referral system will be brought into cricket full time...when the fielding captain or the batsman can refer the decision if they think they are out or not out respectively.....

the third umpire can't use hawkeye because they claim that it only shows up until where the ball HAS travelled....up until it hits the batsman...the predicted path shown by hawkeye after it has struck the batsman cannot be used by the official because it is just that...a predicted path...an estimation as to where the ball will travel.......it isn't definite...according to the icc anyway...


the infrared cameras are used(hot spot)....and i think the 'snickometer' will be used as well..not sure....to pick up edges or lack of an edge....

That sounds good for the game of cricket, too bad that was'nt in the days of Lara, he would have alot of decisions his way instead of being cheated out.
