^^haha, which video you talking about st7? if is the second one (Despondency shadows).. well yea. we just did that out of randomness. but many people ended up liking it,so its up there. the actual video has much to do with the song and story and will be out next year. thanks for the view though ;)

Hook, real nice setup u got there man!! We will be playing live from january, one of our band members had surgery recently and can't really stand/move/jump around for extended periods lol. I hear what you mean wrt to the drummer, he is still finding what works for him, and is getting increasingly better. but his double kicks are awesome lol. We record as a band, and then clean up as we go along, and then do over vocals at the end. The drums are recorded through midi triggers. Where do you play live? wouldn't mind coming to check you/your band out. :)

ElectricoS, thanks for the support man!

Yeah, his double bass is good, but there's always room for improvement.
If u can, contact Anthony Grant (former Incert Coin/HSV/Tamper Evident drummer) abt the drum classes he's about to start soon. It's a very good course.
Doh mind is for beginners. Abt 4yrs into my learning, I still did a beginners course and realized how much I had skipped. It helps greatly. Even now I'm still learning new stuff. Never stop learning.

I'll see you guys in January.

^ Exactly why the local rock scene is so hard to grow... People write off new and upcoming talent without giving them a chance to prove themselves

Anyways, to the rest of you guys, see yall on the 2nd!

+1

Is a rarity for me to check out a show now, even the ones where the absence of the junior C.R.I squad is guaranteed. Slight tinnitus and plenty good memories but for the most part I done with shows.

There are a couple bands on the scene nowadays that are still worth checking out... I agree tho, the rock scene has fallen hard from its former glory and its hard to find half decent bands today.. But the 3 bands performing on the 2nd are probably some of the best of what's left I must admit..

What bothers me most is the lack of new blood. In the 90's around summer time you would see a half dozen new bands of teenagers buss out on the scene playing their first real shows, most would fall apart after a year or two, but alot of the talent stayed on the scene.
Attention deficit youths nowadays are too busy on the computer and playing video games to bother chasing that drive to play music, write songs, and experience the thrill of performing.
Almost all the bands on the rock scene now are the same guys who broke onto the scene in the 90's.
