Only 267 tests done today. Since it's 175 cases that would put it at 65% positivity rate.

Positivity rate crossed 10% in Denmark and the Danes declared they no longer have a realistic basis for tracking case numbers. International average in the developed world was under 5% until a few weeks ago.

We hovering over 50% normel normel and nobody concerned. This is the do-nothing version of "living with the virus."

I know trini's mentality they saying to themselves "Is only 2 weeks of partying and zessing for christmas and ole years, after that I would follow all the covid health protocols" like the virus does take a break or vacation to allow you to party and what if everyone thinking the same way to get their holiday fix with those 2 events then think they could return to normal like nothing happened? smh

One of my high school teachers used to always go on about authority giving people the freedom that would later be used as the reason they pulled out the big stick and resorted to Draconian measures.

We in for a nice time next year, especially the ones freeing up right now.

Covid can be treated. Why is it being treated as a death sentence?

Right, because of panicky chihuahuas fearing everything

Worse....ppl aren't going to report for testing until early next year give or take and by that time alot of Christmas limes /new years eve parties would have passed. Which means alot more undetected cases would be prevalent than normal

People with COVID-19 can leave isolation after 5 days instead of 10, as long as they do not have symptoms, the CDC now recommends.

What could go wrong

yea they are doing this so people can come to work while covid+.

Omicron infecting everybody, so if everybody sick and hadda quarantine in January, large parts of the government/health infrastructure/economy would temporarily cease functioning.

those sick people delaying testing are going to present to the ER with worse symptoms next week. By that time might be too late for some of them.

Not necessarily it’s just more spread. Most mildly symptomatic people don’t need any special treatment. It’s really beneficial to them when they get granny land earlier

next week? too soon, otherwise we would be confirming at least 10 or 20 cases with no travel history. but in a months time sure
