that price is good but then again is harbor freight. Black friday sales coming up, you can probably get the dewalt impact for around 120 us or even cheaper .

i used a electric one already corded, wasnt impressive but did its job.
Works good for lawn grass anything like nut grass its not making sense.

anyone has any experience with DA sanders? im doing some bodywork these days and i could do with a Air sander.
Something with a low air usage, i barely getting by with my 20gallon direct drive.

also the sandpaper for it with the velcro backing, where can i purchase this?
i could almost never keep sandpaper around, it always bursting bad. saw the cloth backing one really standing up.

anyone into painting here? im also looking for a water trap and a decent regulator , did some work today and tons of water in my lines. When i unjacked my paint gun two drops of water hit my hand after almost 15 mins working.

Sanctifier is the man to tell you bout diy filter and dryer

I use one of these as my air lines run about 100ft on the walls so there is enough length to condense, but then again, i don't paint. Simple separators like these may be inadequate, i dunno.

Ted, why you don't try an electric DA sander. That compressor will not generate enough air to keep the air sander running steady. ACE in Chaguanas has some pretty decent water separators cheap.

Any paint shop, and it cheap,one sells for about $6, they come from 36 grit to 2000 grit. There is velcro and stick on. There are those with holes for the dust to vacuum up into and those without. There is even a larger DA for big , flat areas like doors and hoods etc.

I mainly use it for filler work, because nothing beats a sanding block for proper prep work. If you don't use it properly you get a lot of the DA swirls in the final work. I even use it sometimes with 1200 to denib and rub before buffing. If you can, invest in a compressor with an intercooler and an automatic drain. I have a 120 gal 6hp for painting, with intercooler and electric drain valve, you would be surprised at the headaches it eliminates.

I have. They work well for trimming and edging. They don't work so well for actually cutting a lawn. They really shine for very small lawns were noise is a problem like an office building.
