Tell that to the people of Ukraine, who keep fighting on for the sovereignty of their nation.

Did you forget Ukraine losing men too. Russia can and will outlast Ukraine

Well we will see then won't we.
History is replete with instances where the bigger army didn't win a war

I mean it's obvious who's winning now and Ukraine has no other choice

This just doesn’t make sense. Russia doesn’t often hit civilian targets but it does occasionally like the hit on that busy street in Odessa but using a missile just to kill a few civilians just doesn’t match their MO. You could do the same damage with artillery. If you want to kill civilians just fire some MLRS.
This feels like the days after the Kharkiv hotel strike. Later on obituaries for high ranking military personnel came out, confirming the validity of the strike.

Russia has demolished entire cities
Mariupol, Bakhmut, Soledar
Bucha??
You think soldiers inhabited those places in entirety?

Following the passing of Ukraine’s May 17 law to allow certain categories of prisoners to volunteer to serve in the military it was assessed that up to 20,000 would be eligible.

Hypocritical of the west who condemned Russia for doing to the same thing, no consistency and moral integrity by the west again.
Many Western commentators have suggested that this has echoes of the policy in Russia that was begun in the fall of 2022 by the Wagner PMC that freed tens of thousands of prisoners, no matter the crimes for which they were sentenced, with promises of pardons for fighting in President Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine. ...
Moscow’s version allowed serial killers, rapists, pedophiles and other serious criminals to receive a “get out of jail free card and, initially, a complete pardon after serving as little as six months on the front line. This was amended earlier in 2024 as the public outcry in Russia grew after several high profile violent crimes were committed by returning releasees.
Ukraine has set limits on who could qualify. Only prisoners with fewer than three years left on their sentence can apply, with mobilized prisoners being granted parole rather than a pardon.
Among those not eligible to serve are those found guilty of premeditated murder, rape, sexual violence or sexual crimes against minors, those involved in serious corruption, crimes against national security, and those who have held official office, including former MPs and ministers.

A Ukrainian official said Zelenskyy has grown more “emotional and nervous” over the situation on the battlefield and what they say the president sees as Washington’s eagerness to start negotiations with Russia. Zelenskyy “thinks they want the war to go away before the [US] election” - FT

I actually feel sorry for Zelenskyy now, he's realising what a sheit ally the US can be sometimes. Probably lots of talks happening behind the scenes that he's not being invited to.
Well the last president of South Vietnam sent his regards.

It’s a major reversal that will help Ukraine to better defend its second-largest city.
