Where has mineral oil in large quantities?

I can get 240mL glass bottles in the pharmacy for $15 each... is that a good price?

Just finished stress testing about an hour ago. I must say SB is pretty sweet. On just air I've have a successful 24/7 overclock at 5Ghz! Ran Prime 95 for the last 24 hours, no blue screen no errors.

Vcore=1.467
CPU max temp at full load 85C
CPU at idle 35C

85C peak during a 24hr run in is acceptable to me, since this would not be a folding rig none of my real world applications would ever load all four cores to 100% for an extended period of time.

This has got to be the easiest overclock I have gotten away with. All I did was turn off the Asus auto overclocking features, set my turbo multiplier to 50, set RAM timings and voltage manually, leave Vcore and other voltages as auto and that was it! I didn't even have to loosen up RAM timing or play with voltages to get a stable run. Worked first time 8-)

System Specs

Asus P8Z68 V Pro
i7 2600k OC to 5.0Ghz
8GB G.Skill Ripjaws X RAM (1600Mhz) CL8
Asus GTX560Ti TOP
Creative Labs X-Fi Titanium HD
Corsair 600T Case (White edition)
Thermal Take 850W Though Power Grand modular power supply
Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler
Crucial 128 GB M4 SSD
Samsung Blu Ray Combo Drive
Dell U2311H 23" IPS Display
Windows 7 Professional 64bit

Scythe Kaze Master Ace Fan controller. This controller is rated at 1A per channel however the power transistors used are rated at 3A max. The stock design does not incorporate any cooling for these transistors so I installed a pretty large heat sink on them to allow for a little more head room. All my case fans are rated for .3A except for the 200mm front intake fan which is rated at .7A.

This case does come with its own integrated fan controller, four channels at 12W (1A) each. However you cannot adjust the speed of individual fans which is the reason for me using a third party controller. Also temp monitoring is nice to have :D

SSD is frickin fast!!! Windows loads almost instantaneously and the drives as so tiny, I can mount two SSDs one on top the other in a 3.5 inch drive bay.

I am very impressed with the Corsair 600T. I was looking for something with an elegant look, good cable management, tool less, good construction quality, fan filters and decent cooling. I decided against the HAF cases because quite frankly..I think they are ugly. The 600T meet all my requirements however the stock fans were a bit on the week side.

I replaced the front 200mm fan (stock airflow 90cfm) with a NZXT 200mm fan that has a 166cfm airflow rating. The 200mm exhaust fan from on top the case was replaced with two areocool shark 120mm fans rated at 83cfm. I ran these as intake fans instead of exhaust changing the case from a stock configuration of negative pressure to positive pressure which works better with this particular case. I also use an areocool shark 120mm fan as the exhaust fan at the rear of the case. The NH-D14 fans are configured as push pull so they also contribute to moving air out of the case.

The cable management in this case is sweet. This is the first case I've used that has a cable management feature, having a modular power supply also helped (No more butchering unused cables  )

After a couple months putting together this system having finished it and quite excited to install software I realized all my keyboards were PS2 and had to rush out to priceSmart to get one. LOL it just goes to show the smallest thing could stop a project.

All in all I am very very pleased with how this build turned out, especially the fact that I was able to overclock to 5Ghz with no hassle.

yes outlaw!!!! first man other than me, i see around these here lands to actually take time and really make cable management look like cable management... im still in the process of gettin back to trinidad... but this wat im workin with thus far

Thermaltake Element V full tower case

MSI 990FXA board ( dual x16 all time..xfire or SLi )

Corsair Vengeance Ram

Rosewill 1000w Modular psu ( got good reviews for price! )

Amd x6 1100T

cooler is still to be determined, cuz i plan to oc the mofo

alrdy got a 9800gtx+ for pys-x and well i plan to got a main gpu..either a 295 or use a 4870x2, reason for the dual gpu is basically memory performance on those cards are amazing..

ah like this simple and effective, rel room for a graphics card woot! also you dont need a tonne load of fans when two fans can suffice. Cable management = easier to clean... looks great dude and 5 ghz without breaking a sweat hmm I like, how does the 2500k overclock compared to the 2600k?

Is a good board but it has limited expansion possibilities (sata, expansion slots).

Probably if you building a simple system it wouldn't bother you too much.

Video Helper is always late at updating their plugin. When YouTube etc changes their structure, it doesn't function for days.
Just use an ordinary downloading website IMO.... like savevid or whatever works.
