Duane u went to a Christian website to back up one of your statements
and quoted a piece and not even the conclusion
and you did not even post the link...talk about tricks

thing is same website caries the same beliefs as me
allyuh good yes

I've come to the conclusion that you lack simple reading comprehension OR you just don't read everything.

When I quoted the Christian website I stated "I think you don't understand us because we are not speaking your language so let me give it a try:" at which point I quoted from a site that support your views, showing you that exorcism is not supported by the Bible.

Secondly I DID not go to a Christian website to prove Christianity or disprove its detractors. THAT is what you do.

And here is the link http://www.gotquestions.org/Christian-exorcism.html

I swear I am talking to a standard 2 primary school child.

but duane this link shows that "exorcism" is supported by the bible
http://www.greatbiblestudy.com/casting_out_demons.php
you chose the one that supported your views only
thing is you do not even trust or believe what they say yet you quote it
thats not good

what about those who were born before Christ?

how do you know the Vedas, written 1500 years before Christ, are not the true word of God?

What makes you right and Ghandi wrong?

^ you said if Gandhi didnt accept Christ then he would not go to heaven. How do you know that you are correct in your concept of the pathway to heaven and Gandhi was wrong in his by following Hinduism?

it's simple reading comprehension that we all learned in primary school.

What about the people who were born before Christ, how could they have "become righteous in the sight of God" if they could not believe in the name of Jesus Christ

What about the people who were born before Christ, how could they have "become righteous in the sight of God" if they could not believe in the name of Jesus Christ
by having faith in him (GOd)
take for instance Abraham, God told him he would have a son and and Abraham
believed him and it was counted unto him as righteousness

Noah believed God and built an ark
Joshua believed he could defeat the enemy and take the lands God promised them
david believed God will deliver him from Goliath just as he did deliver him from the wolves and the beasts that attacked his sheep

so now for us to be seen righteous we need to believe in jesus christ
who is God in flesh

as I said there was none before jesus
John 8:58 Jesus says, "before Abraham was, I Am

615     חוּג (ḥûg) describe a circle, compass. Used only once, having the object ḥōq expressed (Job 26:10).
Derivatives
615a     חוּג (ḥûg) circuit, circle, compass.
615b     מְחוּגָה (mĕḥûgâ) compass. Occurs only in Isa 44:13.
In Job 26:10 the Creator has “compassed the waters with bounds” (KJV), or according to the more literal rendering of the RSV, “He has described a circle upon the face of the waters.” This may mean the establishment of a boundary in the distance as the neb, “He has fixed the horizon,” or at the shore (cf. Job 38:8, 11). This is also the thought found in the use of the noun in Prov 8:27, “He set a compass upon the face of the depth” (KJV), which the neb renders, “He girdled the ocean with the horizon.”
Job 22:14 (KJV) declares that God “walketh in the circuit of heaven” (ḥûg šāmayı̂m): the “vault” of heaven is the expression used by the RSV, nab, and neb. The jb translates, “He prowls on the rim of the heavens.”
Isaiah 40:22 (KJV) asserts that the Creator sits upon the “circle of the earth” (ḥûg hā˒āreṣ), a rendering retained by the ASV, RSV, and jb. The nabhas, “He sits enthroned above the vault of the earth,” which the neb amplifies as the “vaulted roof of the earth.” NIV: “He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth.” The poets of the ot describe their universe phenomenologically, i.e. as it appears to them standing on the earth and looking above and about. This perspective differs from that of modern scientific thought, which assumes a perspective beyond the earth. Both are accurate and useful according to their own perspectives.
Some have held that Isa 40:22 implies the sphericity of the earth. It may, but it may refer only to the Lord enthroned above the earth with its obviously circular horizon. Note the remarkable concept given in Job 26:7.
מְחוּגָה (mĕḥûgâ). Compass. Occurs only in Isa 44:13 where it describes an instrument used by a carpenter as he fashions an idol. The LXX renders this as metron “measure” or “rule.” Most versions (av, ASV, RSV, nab) translate the word as “compass,” NIV “compasses,” but the jb uses “dividers” and the neb “calipers.”

As you stated there are many sects, but they have failed to read the Bible in continuity,

anyways if you really want to understand Jesus from a Biblical point of view, here are the verse

sMASH no that was not for you. It only reminded me of this thread.

toyo682 there is no reason we should not remain friends, we are only discussing and comparing and contrasting each other's beliefs - there is nothing unfriendly there. However I have no idea what point you are making by regurgitating all that text.

megadoc1 you didnt answer me about Gandhi, and is it remotely possible that you can prove your point without quoting scripture?

but then there's a big hole in your reasoning Doc... If Ghandi's belief system extended to something that predates Jesus, how can the word of Jesus hold relevance to him.? After the fact a bit there.....

so, long story short, where is he destined to go? hell? You cant honestly think that this makes sense? or is just? or can be a reward for a life of selflessness and humility, good deeds and much wisdom left to the world? is this how you reward a man that left us so many lessons about ourselves?

like i said earlier, if de man speakin chinese, what right have you to cast your english judgement on him for not understanding how u speak and what u mean? It bears no relevance to him, so he is not fearful of punishment as you are

what we are asking is for YOU to prove it because you believe it

again what proof do you have that your beliefs are correct and Gandhi's beliefs are wrong?

this the same jesus that had your learned biblical scholars burning ppl at stakes and beheading them at will for going against church doctrine that the earth was spherical and not flat?    just 500 or so years back ?

By your own admonition ,, Jesus, did not create the earth.. your previous posts indicate that God created the earth ( in 6 days and rested and tek een sum spanish league football on the seventh) YOU self say Jesus is the son of God, then return to say he was God in flesh.. The bible says he's the son of god through birth to Mary... which is it? How yall keep shifting this concept of the Holy Trinity conveniently as it suits you.. yall had to conjure 3 entities to explain it? You cannot try to explain the Bible with the bible. Im urging u to use your brain for a brief moment.

yes but do you know where they are expelled?
do you know what was used to drive them out?:
and do you know who put them there in the first place?
do you want to know these things?

^ it does not matter what I know or feel or believe.

You are the one denouncing other people's beliefs and claiming your own as the ONLY way. I am asking you to show me why I should believe you and not them.

Can you use an unbiased source? one that has no tie nor gain for either side.
