made this for approx $300. Bought a length of pipe at the hardware and carried it by metalwork man

Some of those things are really inaccurate.
For example, the display on my spin bike would tell me I burned through 1000 calories (lolwut) in 40 minutes @ 20 km/h average speed.
But plugging my weight into this calculator tells me I burned through 500..
