This max app works pretty decentish with Amplia. It's included in my package. Can't complain tbh

Anyone tried this recently and succeeded?

Was this ever fixed for you? Yesterday the Max app which was working before suddenly logged me out. Tried to reauthenticate with the provider login and now I am getting this same error above.

yesterday i was on max and tried to play a video and it said i had to log in with flow again

I clicked the button on the Max website player, logged in with my "myflow" account and was then redirected back to Max. It gave me a warning about possibly being double billed, but I proceeded anyway.

Now the Max app works fine. Hope flow doesn't actually double bill me or anything lol

Update.

I can log into my account and stream without any issues on my laptop, phone and tablet. When I try to stream via firestick on the TV. It connects but when playing any content. It's asking to verify and connect with my provider. Which is Digicel

Phone is android. Fire tablet 10.

Someone who has flow is experiencing the same. Can connect with iOs devices (phone and iPad) but not with TV app.

Is it a flashed or modified Firestick?

Max app from the Amazon store not side loaded from the play store.

No longer see the need for side loading apps on the FS

I know there can be some DRM issues when using some streaming apps on jailbroken devices even if it's loaded properly from the appstore.
Try installing the Max app on your TV (if it's a smart TV) or try another streaming device on your TV.

I forgot to say it works on the TV as well. I prefer to use the FS as I have a VPN app that I can switch between US and LATAM content.

The other person with flow experiencing the same issue. Is using a smart TV only. And that app is giving the same problem. Asking for content provider to link the account. So digicel and flow users so far. Haven't heard any issues about Amplia.

All was working fine up till Thursday night for me. Then Friday got logged out of Max and now it is not working on the FS. I cleared the cache, data and reinstalled. Same thing. The account is even showing that Digicel is linked in the subscription section. It's very strange.

So every one you mentioned there only started having this problem on Thursday?
And in your case it only stopped working on your FireStick on Thursday but continues to work everywhere else?

For me was Thursday. For the other person It was during the week.

Really not sure what is going on. Just thought I would share my experience. As I am sure others may go through the same

That's the thing. It was working perfectly before. Right now we all just guessing tbh.

I have a direct subscription to MAX because I just have Digicel+ Fibre only package, no cable TV and MAX is only offered free with Digicel+ packages that include HBO in the cable TV package.
Mine has been working fine right through - using it on AppleTV and iOS devices.

Not sure if your issue is with the service provider type subscription or with HBO directly and certain devices that only started this past week.

I have Max through Digicel as well. But I pay for Digicel play. Both Max and Disney + I get through my Digicel package. Earlier in this thread you posted issues with connecting your subscription. That's the same error I am getting with the FS. I mean I can use it on other devices but with the TV I can't use the VPN as NORD doesn't have an app on the Samsung site.

On the FS I am able to log in. The payment method is linked to Digicel. But when I try to stream. It keeps asking for the provider. It's really strange but just sharing the experience in case others get this.

^ My Digicel+ Fibre only package has Disney+ but not MAX - I found that out eventually. Which is why Max was not working and I eventually had to get MAX directly and not through Digicel. The first set of Digicel reps did not state this, eventually one of them explained it.

What's unusual with your scenario is that MAX works on other devices, but not on the FS. This leads me to believe it may be a DRM issue with MAX and the jailbroken FS or the VPN. Something changed.

Just a hunch.

Agreed something changed. The VPN is not on all the time. Only when I want to access US content etc. FS apps all are from the Amazon store.

I guess I use the other devices and hope it fixes itself

The VPN might be switched off but the primary and secondary DNS for the VPN is still being used on the router?

No. I didn't add the IP's on the router as I don't want to the entire house traffic to change when I am using it. NORD is installed on the FS via the app. So I turn it on/off only the FS.

It's a long shot but just to remove as many variables as possible, try removing the VPN from the firestick entirely.

Yup did that already in my troubleshooting. Nada

The only thing I haven't done is try on another FS. Don't have an extra one.
