Tropical Weather Update:
— Tropical Wave 15: A vigorous tropical wave is located in the Central Atlantic, a several hundred kilometers East of the Lesser Antilles. As previously forecast, this wave is forecast to bring a surge of moisture across much of the Lesser Antilles late Wednesday through late Friday, increasing cloudiness, showers, and thunderstorms across much of the Lesser Antilles. Severe weather is likely, as favorable conditions are in place for thunderstorm development and gusty winds across the Lesser Antilles, including Trinidad and Tobago. Specifically, for T&T, we expect much of the inclement weather to occur on Friday, while across the remainder of the Lesser Antilles, severe weather is forecast mainly on Thursday.

for those that didn't read properly, the rain is expected to fall mostly on FRIDAY----

Would not surprise me if that occurs on the saddle road as well this season since there are so many fallen trees and dead bamboo laying around and can slip at any time.

Overcast and drizzly but no heavy showers (not even moderate) in Tunapuna. Heavy showers came 6amish till 8ish.

September/October are the typical deadly Cape Verde hurricane months. By then the Atlantic has stored enough energy since May to unleash it in wind and rain. Last year we saw a lot of that energy in the ITCZ floods. Rainfall releases more potential energy during a hurricane than its winds btw.
