For years money and free houses is what beetham and the like got, but they always crying. Free electricity, and water. But it's never enough. They never upkeep their places because they didn't have to work for it.



There are other poor areas in Trinidad that still try to keep clean and live good. Because they are working to a better future.

My parents were hard working middle-class people. Both gainfully employed.

Here is the catch. We lived in Laventille for many years.

I remember them going to the bank for loans and getting blanked, not because they could not pay, but because of where they lived.

They wanted to buy property in Federation Park when it was still swamp and got totally turned down.

That taught me to never be ashamed of where I came from!!!

If something sounds too good to be true it usually is. Where they getting money for all that they propose?
