Empoli 0 - 3 Juventus.
Dybala x 1, Higuain by 2.
Higuain living up to his price tag, unlike Pogba

Barca getting thunder right now

Pjaca was good tho. Cuadrado too. Juve picking up form. only thing is they need to come out sometimes and be deadly from the start

Hernanes getting better. just need to watch his tackles

Next few weeks will be interesting with some rotation.

Pjaca out for a couple weeks. today they will know if it's more than 2 or 3 weeks

Rugani and Benatia still on sidelines

Marchisio is back in training

Tuttosport claims Marotta to go back and seal Witsel deal in Jan

It's been confirmed that Pjaca will be out for 14-15 days.
Rugani still out for a while..

The good news is that, as you already pointed out, Marchisio will be back and available for macthday selection after the international break, so to will Benatia.
I'm excited to see Marchisio back. Hopefully we can then line up our midfield like this:

Marchisio
Khedira Lemina
Pjanic

i would prefer Lemina more defensive.

Chiello out as welll with calf injury. this weekend is a must win as Napoli playing Roma and Milik was injured on int break. He will be out for 6 mth (RIP Napoli title ambitions)

anyways, looking for a Napoli 1-1 Roma game and Juve to win to extend to 5 or 6pt lead depending on Milan and Lazio

also big LOL at Coman for talking about being at a "real" big club when he went Bayern. it seems bayern might not want to make the loan permanent.

he looks to end up in EPL tho

Yea we will ship Coman off immediately when Bayern sends him back to us. No thanks. Don't want him in our squad.

I am excited for the return of Marchisio but I hope he isn't rushed back and expected to play full matches right away.

unfortunately Allegri is the coach. which means he most likely will be rushed back.

that's what happened with Chiellini last season and why he missed Bayern clash

Marchisio back in the squad :D
Moise Kean brought up to the first team squad.

Buffon is the GOAT.
His haters would have died a little bit inside after that performance yesterday.

Buffon's heroics was equivalent to a striker scoring a hatrick or even more.

Cuadrado boy. All of Cuadrado's goals are spectacular. The goal against Torino, Bayern and now Lyon.
The one against Bayern I ran out of 22 Sports Bar in Maraval with excitement

3 more points. A sweet victory after Lyon packed the middle of their half like sardines in a tin, and being down to ten men away from home.

Hoping to see Marchisio feature against Milan this weekend boy limegreen

We can't win anything if we play like that whole season.

Expected much much more of Dani Alves, Khedira and Pjanic. Lichsteiner needs to start.

Higuain was marked out of the game but they didn't even try to give him the ball.

Cuadrado seemed like his main goal was to score another like mid week.

they tried to slow down the tempo too much.

Hernanes was good tho. not bad at all. hope Marchisio come back soon. Benatia and Barzagli were perfect.

not too worried. Juve started much worse last year and came together later on. the Jan-Mar period is the make or break point. they need to understand Higuain runs. the man makes some killer runs and they cannot read it. if you look at yday there were some points where a simple thru pass on the ground would have given him a nice tap in

Have to give Juventus props for grooming Morata. Saved our ass once again this weekend.

I've now lost track of how many points and games he has won us already.

Morata is a good one. Underrated and a very humble fellow.
Don't know why Ronaldo would raise his hand on that play as if to suggest it was offside. Should be glad your team mate score to win the match in the death.

Yes that Jan to Mar period, is where we should be looking to peak and the team should gel by then and really be "running". Need to be in peak or close to peak condition when the UCL knock outs start. The January window will also be crucial for us. In my opinion we need to snap up Axel Witsel.
After Dybala came off we lost it and yes Cuadrado tried to replicate what he did in Champions League midweek. I love Cuadrado and what he offers. He can dribble and/or run past any opposing player almost at will. His penetration, creativity and unpredictability makes him a dangerous opponent but his end product (that final pass and or shot), is inconsistent. His shooting is extremely poor when it's poor.

But say what, Fino Alla Fine. We will move on and let Sampdoria have it on Wednesday.
Oh and Dybala out for 10-15 days. He will miss Napoli and Lyon in UCL.

Nah man I believe that is the media trying to demonise him. Ronaldo is very much a team player something he doesn't get the credit which he deserves. As for the hand thing, he always does that as a celebration when someone else scores.

well there goes Milans to stay within close distance of Juve.

both Inter and Milan pressed Juve all game and beat them. in both games Juve started off the game pressing high and attacking hard and then said f**k it in the second half.

LOL. I saw that tweet from his pre match press conference.
Asamoah fool us in preseason and the first two league games. Other than being injury prone, he looked to be above average in his play. He really is garbage and we should have sold him along with Pereyra.

Would love to see Marchisio get a few minutes this afternoon.

Inter and AC play the match of there lives when playing against us and then implode after. Genoa 3 - 0 AC Milan LOL. Pavoletti had Milan's defense looking like an intercol match.

Interested to see how Higuain and Mandzukic play upfront together today.

yeah Asamoah is danger. with him there will be zero counter attack for sure.

i told my friends that Inter and AC play their hearts out against us but they didn't believe me.

idk what happen to Mandzu. he used to bully defender and be a beast on crosses

Marchisio starting :D :D

Neto

Alves, Bonucci, Chiellini, Evra,

Pjanic, Khedria, Marchisio

Cuadrado, Mandzukic Higuain.

Not sure if 4-3-3 or 4-3-1-2 with Cuadrado behind Mandzu and Higz.

good game today. Mandzu play great. Marchisio was solid for his 1st game in months. but still.... Higuain making some great early runs and they passing sideways to "build" the play and get others into the play.

why?? why not send a thru ball or a nice ball over the top for him to connect with? the side pass helping the other team defense get back into shape.

Truth right there.

It's as if we are afraid to attack through the middle. Higuain is more than capable of cleanly controlling balls over the top and getting through on goal.

Points to note:

The good:
Marchisio was very tidy. Don't think he misplaced any passes really. Makes himself available to the defenders as an option for a pass. Keeps the side ticking.
Mandzukic had a very good game. Once he gets that kind of good service, he will do his thing.
He even ran back a couple times to regain possession.
Cuadrado was good. His combination of creativity, speed, trickery and unpredictability is unmatched and welcomed in the team. Hope he gets more starts and keeps it up.
Chiellini was solid and even got two goals.
Always makes those match saving tackles and interventions where the opposition looks like they would score.

The bad:
Alves was disappointing. So too Pjanic, even though he scored.
These two both have not lived up to expectations, even though they both have scored for the season.
IMO, Pjanic is still too deep. Need him as trequartista behind the strikers.

Looking forward to the match against Napoli. The Italian fed has banned Napoleteans from attending the match, because we all know what they happen.

yeah i feel like they just don't trust Higuain for some reason.

Marchisio and Mandzu were great. the 4-3-3 help us and if we play 3-5-2 on Sat we prob will scrape by again.

Juve need to win this as i believe Juve fans won't be allowed at San Paolo either for the return leg. Napoli will def have crowd support roaring down there.

Yeah i agreed that Pjanic was too deep. he even look angry all game. they really need to play Licht more. the man is still an asset and will run all day

i agree just a few average crosses and ALOT of getting caught too far up the field.

for me if we meet Barca or Bayern this season and Alves play, one team will be up 2-0 by half time. either us or them.
