nope it isn't
I called them a couple days after it first advertised and they said they don't know when it's going to be on the website
just like when i asked them the model number of the device they kept repeating the same thing (trying to explain what the hotspot is)
i told them i know what it is can you please tell me the model number so i can look up the technical details
and she responded, so will that be all do you have any more questions? I was like no thanks for your help, 'thank for contacting blink have a nice day'

dumbasses.

if you dont have thing from them in YOUR name

den it is the contract price ( 349'2yr' or 475'1'yr ) x 2.5 + first payment = walk out price
for me was

349 x 2.5 + 349 = 1221.5

just have 1300 and u on.

if u have something in your name there.. its just 349 or 475.

the one time payment there is called a security deposit. it will go back into the payment after 6 months.

So like, ok what speeds are you getting with that, device? Even though I think it's robbery, I am actually thinking of trying it out.

when you think about it the prices aren't THAT bad.. compared to verizon and other mifi packages abroad they range around 55 - 60 USD with 2 year contracts. Granted the speeds are higher but it's not a bad start for Blink and alot of people including me would use this to replace their data packages on their phone. On average on my iphone i was getting 0.25Mb/s download and a ping numbering in the thousands with the EDGE $150 package, I cancelled that and I pay double now for Blink but it actually works.

I know you said in MY name with THEM but what if I have a bmobile account does that count?

^ u need to a have a monthly paid account..

well i used 4g up in the US alrdy..and the speed WAS THE SAME as here.......

gettin higher speeds via a mobile network doesnt make much sense..

it said to be able to provide UP TO..but usually ISP or TELECOM companies dont give u peak speeds..that wud be foolish..bandwidth is expensive..

2mbit for a wireless network..with few lag is great..its mobile net where ever u are..cant expect it to work like a WIRED connection.

I'm thinking of getting it for my playbook. Still waiting a few months to see if they're consistent though, but the video by Chiney kinda convinced me

Recieved my Wimax box today from TSTT..only problem is that I cant seem to acess the login page to activate the box. It keeps saying "invalid address". Tried on two different laptops with different OS. Receiving good signal strength. Any one experienced this before?

hmmm this tempting me
couple questions
regarding them 4 hr online time for battery
is this 4 hrs of continuous usage or just 4 hours on?
cause i would expect like mail and stuff to be coming through when i'm not "actively" using my phone
whats the range of it as well?
kinda hard to carry 2 devices just to get net
