they said 3 lanes between chaguanas and chase village
doesn’t mean there won’t be a change back to 2 then back to 3
dont assume anything with govt

Pity those people who are accustomed to waiting there for transport
But watching where the third lane has been introduced for the entirety of the Chaguanas / Chase Village stretch, with the new lane suddenly ending just before the flyover, it means that everyone when approaching the flyover will suddenly have to filter over one lane to the left, which again seems unsafe and nonsensical to me.st7 wrote:fokhan_96 wrote:Nah I doubt they soo chupid... i think they will turn the bridge into 3 lanes and there won't be a shoulder. i see the clear way the trees along the south bound right after the bridge and before the exit to the highway

screwbash wrote:that whole plan is a bunch of KAKA. that 3rd lane on both sides should be left for BUSES only. imagine leaving pos and reaching chaguanas or carlsen field in like 15-20 minutes and a taxi stand by globe city take you anywhere in central. Leave work at 4pm and reach home by 4:30pm. I for one will take that bus instead of sitting hours in traffic morning and evening.

I would think that's the common sense approach, but they already painting lines on the new lane, so doesn't look that way.pugboy wrote:doh hut yuh head
junior go add on a next layer if needed
killercow wrote:Hear na, it rained tonight and I watching how this new right lane lil lower than the lane to its left and the amount of water settling on this new lane. It have proper drainage underneath dem new concrete barriers?
I would have designated and enforced one lane of the highway as a car pool lane during peak hours (for three lane highways).hover11 wrote:To tell you how stupid trinis are over 60m for a 1% reduction in traffic, the lanes aren't the problem the problem is the number of cars on the roads. One more lane isn't going to solve anything If everyday over 600 cars are added to the roads.

That was frustrating for the time the works was being done.
