that game should be awarded to T&T, the referee acted as though he was bribed.I know in football, once the defender tackle the striker, he being the last man=instant red! WTF! not even a yellow card!!???....but seriously, that referee should be banned from all international games...Guatemala players should leave the acting up to the coaches on the sidelines, ah mean come one, yuh get tackle from behind and then yuh hold yuh heart, and THE SECOND YELLOW CARD WAS A FARSE! the t&t player clearly got the ball, why didnt he consult the third official/linesman!!????

for being a trini as far as I know, the referee was suffering from 'money in d bank' syndrome.

Boy, that referee made far too many WRONG calls. The 2 calls on Cyd Gray leading to his expulsion, the call on Clayton Ince, the no-call on the last Guatemalan defender...

TRDcorolla, in 1973, T&T faced one last qualifier against Haiti at the Queen's Park Oval. T&T was certain to win and qualify for the world cup finals for its first time ever. But the referee disallowed 4 legitimate goals by T&T (with no reason), and Haiti won the game. The referee's actions were investigated later on, and he was subsequently banned for life.
