So I confuse. If the MPs are elected then why is the general council selecting opposition leader? The opposition leader is selected by members of the opposition. This is not an internal pnm issue but is a parliamentary issue.

I believe so. I'm guessing while yes, it is a parliamentary issue, it is still pnm business so the meeting is being held in balisier house.

Jennifer Baptiste-Primus doesn't want Rowley to attend. While Rowley did resign, it takes effect tomorrow so he is still the political leader. There is the possibility that he would attempt to influence the outcome for opposition leader somehow even though in reality he has no say in the process.

I am not PNM or UNC. I am looking at my options and choosing the side that aligns with my concerns.
